Anthony Cubbage, a singer-songwriter, producer, and audio engineer currently residing in Upstate NY, is winner of the 2018 Lehigh Valley Music Awards' "Best New Artist," CARA Nominated artist for Best Original Song, has written, recorded and performed with Grammy Award-winning artists such as Scott Hoying, and has toured the country and Canada many times over, playing multiple festivals and conferences around the east coast.
Currently releasing indie-folk music under the moniker Age of the Bear, Cubbage has been narrowing in on expressing the human condition, and what we can learn about looking inward, through his music.

Anthony provided the background music for our son’s/daughter-in-law’s wedding welcome dinner. He was absolutely AMAZING! Our guests were still commenting on his music the next day. I can’t say enough about his talent and professionalism. Would highly recommend.

Anthony's performance for us was outstanding. I told him to go ahead and pick the music he would play and he did not disappoint. I am really into music and Anthony covered all the bases. We had rented a VRBO in upstate NY and for the final night we had him play. Our family who lives in NY were blown away from the very first song. My sister in law said she never thought she would have a private concert. He does his own spin on the song he covers and he makes the songs new again. Hands down I think you would be hard pressed to find another musician with this much talent. He also has a great way about him we invited him to visit us in California although I might have to have him work for his dinner LOL .

Anthony did a great job entertaining us at my husband's 60th birthday party. He is extremely talented and everyone kept telling me how great he was. He also is VERY reliable. He showed up in a major snowstorm - we ended up getting 28 inches and he didn't cancel. You will not regret hiring him!

We can’t say enough about Anthony. Anthony was professional, arrived early and learned all the songs I requested and did an amazing job. Even though we hired Anthony for an hour he stayed and played for 2 hours without us asking, he’s just that kind of guy. We highly recommend him and will definitely have him play at future events.

What to Expect
Depending on your needs for an event, you can expect:
- Live sound system, able to deliver sound to small audiences without overpowering conversation, but also able to deliver sound to over 200 people within a 500 ft radius
- 2 wireless microphones for speakers (by request)
- Guitar, piano, vocals, and mandolin or ukulele by request
- A song list of 250 + songs if you prefer to pick and choose the setlist
- 50 miles of travel included
About
Anthony Cubbage is a guitarist, pianist, and singer-songwriter in Troy, New York with over a decade of professional performance and contracted songwriting and film score experience. From acoustic renditions of your favorite songs down the aisle to some soft instrumental piano/guitar music at a corporate meet-and-greet, his emotional vocals and delicate playing are a great atmospheric addition to a wedding. Cubbage Music breathes life into some of the most special and intimate moments couples have during their wedding days and engagements, as well as business and private family events.
Cubbage also writes (and professionally records) personalized songs for couples. If you can't find the right song for your first dance or for down the aisle, he'll work with you to make that vision a reality, taking the time to learn about the two of you as a couple, your unique history together, and crafting a song that pulls together all of those experiences and the love that embodies them into something you can listen back to and hold onto forever.
Additional Booking Notes
1 source of electricity is usually all I need, but can do small setups using battery powered sound systems if need be.
Cover from the rain is also appreciated if rain is expected in the forecast. All of my gear is pretty expensive and I can't afford to loose it.
