Had such a great time with Michael as our DJ- our guests were so happy with his music choices. Michael showed up early, his set ip was neat and he was very professional. 10 out of 10!
He was good. What was weird was, when my guests asked him to play certain music, he refused and wouldn't play the songs they requested. I thought that was odd.

For clarity, I did not refuse. I did take their request but when I played it, they were not around to enjoy their song. I had requests for MJ and Queen or Backstreet Boys and others and then they would leave the room right after.
For the record, DJ aren’t people that just plays what you request all night long. They have a skill set and work hard to create a playlist with a queue of songs that would work for the entire party and not for just that one person. If one person requested a song that no one else knew or enjoyed, it would reflect badly on the DJ, not the one who requested it. Therefor, they have a set playlist they would prefer to stick with.
(which is also why I messaged the client directly about what songs they would like to have on the set list). What was not discussed or agreed upon was taking requests from other guests.
If you will continue to hire a DJ, please trust in their abilities to actually DJ.
If you want someone to just play whatever you’d like, I would recommend just hiring someone to press play on an ipod, not a DJ.
Price Range: $150 and up
Gig Length: 120 - 240 minutes

Insurance: $500 - If a person (not the DJ) were to cause an accident that damages the equipment in some way, shape, or form (i.e. spilled drink, knocking over equipment, etc) the cost of the repair/replacement will included.
Music playlist that consist of demographic and age appropriate music. No two party playlists are completely the same. Playlist can be created with an assist from the party holder, if they wish.

I require a 3-prong outlets as well as enough space to set up equipment.
