Ariel Amara is a multi talented variety entertainer specializing in:

A versatile artist with a focus on themed costuming and make up, skillful performance and safety. She performs and teaches in Vancouver and beyond as a solo performer and is the ring master of Circus Amara, connected to a vast network of local and international talent.

Ariel has been exploring performance art since 2003, having found her favourite channel for outgoing creative expression. She has been dancing since she could walk and, and has dabbled in many different movement arts throughout her life, including mixed martial arts, belly dance, ecstatic dance, improv movement, pilates and yoga. Growing up in Vancouver, BC amid a thriving arts community, Ariel found her passion in practicing hoop dance, object manipulation, and fire dancing. She has performed in many environments, ranging from corporate events and clubs to community shows and festivals. This includes The Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Torch Relay, The Taboo Show and The Vancouver International Children’s Festival, and many more. Ariel has trained in multiple disciplines including clowning at Fantastic Space, burlesque at Screaming Chicken Theatrical Society, hoop arts at multiple training retreats, stilting with Stillmoon Arts Society and more. Her range of experience has givien depth and connection to her performance and teaching, emphasizing expressive body language and openness to play and varsatility in what she offers.
Ariel is experienced with managing a wide range of production, tech and safety co-ordination for shows varying from cabarets, festivals to corporate events. Ariel also teaches workshops and classes to children and adults in private, studio and open festival settings. She is a storyteller and public speaker with many years of experience, sharing at public storytelling events, street performing, and MC'ing cabarets and other events.
