Natalie provided the music for my daughter's pre-ceremony, ceremony and cocktail hour wedding and it was amazing. She is a talented musician and ultimate professional. The music ranged from classical to jazz to pop. All of our guests enjoyed her music and her contribution was significant in making the day perfect. We are truly grateful.

Natalie added so much to the music at our Mother's funeral! Mom loved the violin and we had always hoped that we could have a violinist at Moms Celebration of Life! Natalie is a true professional! She communicated with the church music director and we were very pleased that she was part of Mom's service!

I got together with Natalie for a special request. I wanted Natalie to play some music for my proposal over a private dining experience! She played music I requested my now Fiancée that I know she would love. This whole thing was a giant surprise, and she nailed every aspect of my planned proposal idea! I had Natlie play some beautiful music while we enjoyed Dinner/Dessert until I asked my significant other to dance and after a few songs I asked my now Fiancée to Marry Me while Natalie played my fiancées favorite music in the background. It was truly an amazing time, and I am happy Natalie was able to execute everything so perfectly. If you want to do something special or unique for your significant other in ANY type of way. Natalie was amazing to work with! Her talent was a such a gift to us and we had so many compliments on the beauty it added to our ceremony. She was also kind enough to provide the speakers, mic, and mic stand for our officiant during our outdoor ceremony. Where to begin! Natalie was so delightful to work with. I found a song off TikTok that was brand new and had no sheet music. She completely transformed my wedding isle song to accompany violin music with it. Our ceremony was so much more special with the violin. So many compliments about her work from our guests. Natalie played as a solo violinist at our small park ceremony and she really captured the intimate vibe with gorgeous music and seamless transitions. Natalie was extremely responsive and helpful through the planning process and she worked with me to ensure the music selections were perfect. We utilized Arioso Strings for a memorial service in Edina on April 3rd, 2022...and what an amazing performance Natalie did for us playing her Violin. Even before the memorial, just talking to Natalie on the phone you could tell she was very caring, professional and passionate about her playing. She was very open to talking about special requests, and went above and beyond to assure that everything was perfect and to our satisfaction even before the service. Every person that attended the Memorial shared how moving her violin playing was, how beautiful it sounded, and how it completely made the entire service. I recently was planning a surprise picnic for my wife in Minneapolis. I wanted to add a special touch to make the picnic unique, so I reached out to Natalie to ask if she could play our wedding song on the violin. She said she could play our song, and that she could use a backing track to make it sound like there was a full orchestra with her. She coordinated with the picnic provider (checkered blanket picnic) and was there at the site before we arrived. She started playing as soon as my wife arrived and my wife immediately started crying. Natalie played a beautiful set of love songs during our picnic and attracted a wedding party that came through to enjoy the music and take photos! Having a violinist definitely made the picnic memorable and created a forever moment for my wife and me. I would recommend this service and it is LGBTQIA+ friendly!

Natalie and Brenton (I apologize if I have his name wrong) were AMAZING! Natalie was so helpful and responsive to all my emails and texts with questions and really nailed exactly what I wanted. They are reasonably priced, arrived on time and played beautifully! Our original singer had laryngitis the day of our wedding, so the guitar player jumped in and sang and played our song. I'm a church choirmaster-organist, and I've worked with Natalie, Dave, and their Arioso Strings colleagues since 2000.

When I hire contract instrumentalists, I expect accuracy, collegiality, and flexibility, and Arioso's musicians fulfill those expectations in spades. But I want to tell you why, after 16 years of working with them, they continue to be my first call when I need to hire instrumentalists:

-Arioso's musicians are artists. They come to rehearsal having given careful thought to how to get the most out of their music. They are not sight-reading for dollars; they believe in their work, and they love what they do.

-Arioso's musicians are collaborative, personable, and genuinely friendly. Their interactions with my singers and parishioners are always joyful and supportive in rehearsal, in performance, and even after the gig is over.

-Arioso's musicians are versatile. They play baroque concertos and accompany show tunes with the same level of virtuosity and élan. These are the rare musicians who understand that full participation (whether that be 'knowing the moves' for a liturgical church service, or chit-chat with gala guests) is part of their job, and they make the shift from musician to participant appropriately and seamlessly.

So sure, accuracy, collegiality, and flexibility are nice. Required, even. Arioso goes the extra mile; they don't just crank out tunes, they make art. Hire them, and you'll see and hear the difference firsthand.

I hired Arioso Strings to play one moonlight night in early fall, and my girlfriend and I "stumbled upon" the violin and cello playing in the rose gardens of Lake Harriet, where I got down on one knee and proposed to my beautiful fiance. Not only did Natalie help make the moment incredibly beautiful and special by wonderful musicianship, but also with the behind the scenes help that went along with planing such an extravagant and memorable proposal.
