Art on the Geaux

Art on the Geaux offers family friendly, fun entertainment for all events through face painting, balloon twisting, caricatures, glitter tattoos, and much more! My goal is to make sure that every occasion goes smoothly and is a special, one of a kind experience for our clients and their guests.

Here's what you can expect when you book your next event with Art on the Geaux:

> I have an easy to navigate booking process with straight forward pricing and clearly written event details and information about the company.

> I go over all of the details for the event to make sure that the day of will run as smoothly as possible. If you have an event planner then I work closely with them as well.

> No task is too much! I love making every moment special, so if you have a special request I can do it. From wearing a specific outfit to creating a custom theme board and beyond.

> I check in with my clients to make sure they are always in the loop. I confirm all of the event details during the initial booking, I check in again the week of the event to make sure everything is all set, and I check in when I am on the way to their event.

Hi friends! My name is Lautice and I'm the owner and lead artist of Art on the Geaux. I have over ten years experience in the event entertainment industry and am professionally trained in all services offered. I decided to start my own company in 2018 with a goal to spread happiness and cheer at all events through art!

My team and I absolutely love creating magical memories at events and can't wait for your next celebration!

Setup: The artist will arrive 10-15 minutes before the event start time in order to setup. We bring our own setup including any tables and chairs. To accommodate, a small area is required, approximately 5ft x 5 ft.

Cancellations/Rescheduling: Should you need to reschedule your event, we will make every effort to accommodate a new date, however the new date will be subject to artist availability. If a new date has been approved your deposit will be applied. Should an Artist get sick/have an emergency, every effort will be made to find a replacement. If we are unable to find another artist, the deposit will be refunded.

Weather: For the comfort of your guests and our artists we ask that the host provide an area with protection from extreme temperatures, rain, or excessive wind. Should inclement weather occur at an outdoor event, we ask that the host have an indoor area available as an alternative.

Notice: Artists will not be responsible for supervising children. Their behavior and safety are the Client’s and/or Parents’ responsibility, and client agrees to provide proper supervision for all children. Artist reserves the right to stop painting if there are extreme adverse working conditions and the client fails to remedy the situation after it has been brought to the client's attention. Adverse conditions include but are not limited to destructive, violent, or inappropriate behavior of a child, pet or adult, any illegal activities, unsafe working conditions, or dangerous weather.

Liability Statement: Art on the Geaux exclusively uses hypoallergenic, non-toxic, FDA compliant, cosmetic paints and glitters. All equipment is sanitized daily and artists exercise hygienic practices while servicing your event. For sanitary reasons, artists will not paint anyone who is or appears to be sick or suffering from: cold sores, infectious skin conditions, lice, contagious illnesses, or open wounds. While Art on the Geaux takes these precautions, allergic reactions are still a possibility for those with skin sensitivities. Art on the Geaux is not responsible for any allergic reactions that may occur, but we can provide product information and ingredient lists upon request.
