Kelsea exceeded my expectations when she did my makeup for my engagement photos. Not only did she ask questions ahead of time about my style and any allergies to make sure she brought the best materials, she also came to my apartment for the makeup application and helped my fiance and I choose our outfits for the photo session. We even changed her arrival time a few times to plan around winter weather and she was flexible and accommodating. Kelsea's eye for what looks good on camera helped ensure a beautiful and classic look in our photos! Thanks, Kelsea!

One of the greatest joys in my life is having the talent and skill to show everyone just how beautiful they are. in using these skills to show others how beautiful they are, I found my beauty, my strength and so much more.
I realize every day, I am often a small part of big life-changing events. For each wedding, baby shower, or brand launch photoshoot I get to be a part of, I am forever grateful for your trust.
ever since I was a little girl I loved to create with whatever I could get my hands on. you can find my first hair and makeup portfolio on the classic early 2000s game, "Barbie Magic Hair Styler". I was never the best painter, and the best thing I can draw is a stick figure, but that just meant I hadn't found the right medium yet.
I eventually moved on from Barbie and Maybelline Mousse Foundation in 2013 and started working at Sephora. since then you could find me working in bluemercury, department stores, and for many brands throughout the years. through those jobs, I was able to work with all skin tones, types, and ages. I also met some pretty fabulous people along the way. before I knew it I was being asked to do makeup for photoshoots, fashion shows, weddings, and all kinds of events. and then it started to evolve into hair styling and photography.
my mission is to make beauty accessible for everyone. gender, skin tone, hair texture, abilities, and societal norms have all impacted the way we view beauty. the beauty industry has a history of only catering to medium skin tones, the cosmetology programs only teach you how to work with one hair texture, and if I had a dollar for every time I heard a mom tell her son that makeup is not for boys... I.... all that to say, you can leave your foundation at home (I've got your shade I promise), you can request reasonable accommodations, and I will respect your pronouns. the more we celebrate each other the more beautiful this world can be.
