The Asheville Cats played bluegrass & gospel music at our church fellowship picnic this July. They are not only skilled musicians, but they are also a great group of guys. Their musical capabilities were perfectly matched by an infectious chemistry. They were more than willing to accommodate our requests, and joined us for dinner as well! Highly recommend this band!

The Asheville Cats played for 3 hours at my daughter's high school graduation party at our home. All of the band members are skilled instrumentalists, and together they created a beautiful, bluegrassy sound. Their energetic music was perfect for our celebration and went well with the BBQ.

We provide an entertaining show with the ability to play a wide array of songs that can spread into alternate genres if desired. We have a quality sound system set up to keep the good times rolling. Their influences span from first-generation bluegrass musicians, like Bill Monroe and the Stanley Brothers, through the 1960s with acts like the Kentucky Colonels and Red Allen, up to Tony Rice and The Bluegrass Album Band. The Asheville Mountain Boys highlight instrumentation as well as the emotionally charged harmonies of traditional bluegrass music.
If we are bringing our sound system, all we require is a power outlet and for you to have a great time while we do the rest.
