Augie Max Vargas is Filipino-American, Emmy Award winning Television Producer and Motivational Speaker for Film & Television Students. Born in Dallas, Texas and raised in Los Angeles, California, Augie, a first generation student, was a product of the public school system and earned a Television Production Certificate from a community college. He has over two decades of experience on the biggest live televised events in the world including The Oscars, The Grammys and Super Bowl Halftime Show. He has maintained employment in a highly competitive industry and has been awarded the highest honor from his peers, a Primetime Emmy Award and also received three other nominations from the Television Academies.
