DJ Services - I have been DJ'ing drag events, weddings, parties, and fundraisers for over 5 years! I currently do NOT own my own sound system, but I do have the computer to mix and play all your favorites for your next big event. If you have a system I can plug into, then I have you covered! South Lyon Pride in the Park was honored to host Austin D. King at our family-friendly Pride in the Park event. He performed two numbers and read a book about a young trans child for our Drag story time. It was awesome how he incorporated his own experiences into his storytelling, he didn't just read the book, he engaged with the young audience. His two performances were electric and were enjoyed by our crowd of all ages. Also, he was a great communicator during the process leading up to the date of the event. If you select Austin for your Pride event you won't be disappointed.
I work for Canton Parks and Recreation and for the past three years we have had Austin and their queens and kings out for our Pride OUTside event! Extremely professional, great with the audience and family friendly!!

As a DJ, I can bring music to any crowd or event. Have a themed party or fundraiser? I've got you covered. I have DJ'd drag shows, weddings, parties, fundraisers, and more. Currently, I do NOT have my own sound equipment, but I have the means to bring a great playlist to life. If you have the sound system, I'll bring the tunes, and we will have an event you and your party won't forget!
I am an autistic, transgender entrepreneur and creative originally from Grand Rapids, MI! After a decade in SouthEast MI, I am back in Grand Rapids, MI. I graduated in 2019 from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor's in Theatre with a minor in Drama & Theatre for the Young. I am currently attending Brooklyn College to receive my MFA in Performing Arts Management. I have been a member of EMU's Playback theatre group since 2017, and I am certified in Playback through the New York School of Playback.
For work, I currently do anything I can get my hands on. From gig work to multiple part-time positions, I like learning about all aspects of working in the theatre world and where my strengths and abilities lie. I am passionate about theatre arts and creating awareness and inclusivity wherever I go.
From 2018 to 2023, I helped run a drag group called Boylesque Michigan. Their mission is "to put on a fabulous show & create change by raising money for local non-profits." During my time with them, a lot of successful changes took place. Pre-COVID-19, Boylesque only traveled locally in SouthEast MI. During the pandemic, Boylesque produced up to four virtual drag shows a week and hosted various virtual gatherings - equaling about 185 virtual shows over the course of two years! Once the world reopened in 2021, Boylesque transferred to a hybrid platform and not only continued to offer virtual events that are watched worldwide, but they now travel nationwide as well, hosting a variety of fundraisers and drag-themed events. My time with this group was truly life-changing.
Depending on your event and needs for the event, will depend on my technical needs.
At a minimum, if I am performing, I will need an area to get ready and/or change.
At a minimum, if I am DJing, I will need a sound system to hook up to and a table to place my laptop at.
Anything beyond this can be discussed when you inquire about your event.
