Austin Pony Express

For backyard parties, we offer our small event packages. We bring 1 - 3 of our friendly ponies & horses for your guests to enjoy. The ponies & horses included will be an assortment of breeds, colors, and sizes, from ponies all the way up to the giant draft horses (think Budweiser Clydesdales) to accommodate weight limits of up to 360 pounds. Please let us know if our set up needs to include barriers. We prefer to set up on grass or dirt. If grass or dirt is not available, please provide tarps and shavings, or please let us know to provide our own tarps and shavings.

For larger events, including team building, corporate events, educational events, and non-profit charity events, we will customize pony & horse ride packages to fit your needs. We bring at least 4 - 8 ponies & horses. We can bring as many as 12. Our set up is very flexible to fit a variety of spaces. We have barriers to keep all the ponies & horses safely contained. Visitors delight at meeting our cuddly critters and feeding them treats (apples, carrots, peppermints, popcorn, birthday cake, cupcakes, other approved treats)

Christmas and other holidays are magical times of the year. Make the joy of the season come alive with our holiday costumed and decorated ponies & horses. The full package includes the ponies, horses, and holiday appropriate costumes & decorations.

We are a small family business, woman-owned, disability-owned. We have 47 years (and counting) experience in the animal entertainment industry. Our ponies & horses are a big part of Renaissance Faires, Eeyores Birthday Party, and the DSACT Buddy Walk for Downs Syndrome. They also participate in Easter, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, Halloween, and Christmas Events and Parades. We saw a need in our area for fun, safe, quality pony and horse rides for both children and adults up to 360 pounds. Horses have been teaching us all of our lives – how to ride, how to drive, how to train, how to teach, as well as how to relax, how to be patient, how to see different perspectives, how to be respectful, how to think positively, how to be humble (humility), how to be a good companion and how to carry heavy burdens. We are lifelong students. We read and study everything that we can find. We thrive on seeing more smiles in a week than most folks see in a year – from ponies, horses, and humans alike.
