AVM is a modern rock act with NATIONAL AIRPLAY in over 50 radio markets of the song "HUSH" (new version).

Available as a headliner or support act for national headliner, Fairs, Festivals and larger rock club dates 2013 AND 2014. Laser Light Show available!

Also performs Classic Rock covers. (music similar to 38 Special, U2, Survivor, Journey, Asia and Foreigner.)AVM is a Chicago based rock group and recording act headed by singer songwriter and music producer ROBERT MACKEY. Their innovative musical style is described as "Modern Symphonic Rock"...and played with a passion.

STAGE SIZE / BAND PERFORMANCE AREA: 32’ Wide x 20’ deep OR 28’ Wide x 24’ Deep Note: this means “Clear Area, NOT counting footprint of PA.”
POWER TO STAGE FOR BAND: We need (3) A/C quad boxes of 15 amps EACH at Band BackLine Plus (1) A/C quad boxe of 15 amps at Front Center of Stage.
SOUND SYSTEM (Must be capable of producing 120db at rear of venue) (1) stereo PA, 3 way or 4 way active (2) Dual 15 mid-high with horn, cabinets per side and 1 double 18 inch subwoofer or (2) single 18 inch subwoofer per side.) Acceptable brands include EV Delta Max, Meyer, EAW, Turbosound, or Apogee. (1) 32 channel console with the following features: switchable phantom power on all channels, 3 band sweep EQ, high pass filter, 6 auxes. Some acceptable consoles are, Allan-Heath GL3000 Series, Soundcraft K-3, Crest Century or X-VCA series, any Midas series. Please no Behringer, Peavy, series. (1) FOH Drive Rack that includes 1 stereo 1/3 octave DUAL 31 band EQ (Yamaha, DBX, Klark or BSS.) 2-Separate Professional FX units(reverbs and delays). 8-channels of insertable compression (2-DBX 1046’s or 8-DBX 166’s) . MONITORS (6) wedges on 4 separate mixes, (4) 31 band EQ’s, and power amps for each mix. PLUS DRUM FILL Monitor (prefer 15” - 18” sub) (preferably EV, EAW, Meyer, Apogee, or JBL SR series monitors) - All monitors to have 15 inch driver (not 12’s) minimum and 1-2 inch horn. MICROPHONES AND DI’S Preferred Microphones for Vox of AVM are E/V ND-767 (If you do not have-we will bring, (You MUST let us know) Robert Mackey LEAD VOX uses a EV ND767 Wireless System (we travel with it) Steve Birkett DRUMMER use a Sennheiser Wireless System headset boom mic (we travel with it) We require a minimum of (5) “boom” Mic Stands for VOX . We need (6) DI’s
LIGHTING Purchaser to provide sufficient Lighting (and AC POWER for ALL LIGHTING), Controller and Programmer/Tech. A minimum of (24) Par 56’s or Par 64’s and a minimum of (4) Intelligent lights (2) follow spots with operators. (Front INTELLIGENT lighting WITH DEDICATED OPERATOR may be substituted for follow spots) Note: AVM travels
with SOME lighting “Specials” such as LED Movers, Lasers, fog/hazer and LED projectors. Not Available on Fly Dates.
TECH PERSONELL - 1 operator / tech, fully knowledgeable of all aspects of the provided PA system for the duration of sound check and performance. Plus a separate MONITOR Mix with dedicated MONITOR Tech. - Please provide lighting tech for sound check and performance to supervise all focusing and programming of lights.
NOTE: AVM has our own FOH Sound Mixer person who knows our unique sound and Mixes. Please notify the Sound Production Company of this. AVM’s SOUND ENGINEER must have complete control of the Mixer PRIOR TO and DURING the AVM show to Sound Check and /or Line check.
FYI…We usually bring some additional special effect LED Movers lighting, Lasers, fog/hazer machines and technician at our bigger shows…
MERCHANDISE - Purchaser, Please provide an area for ARTIST Merchandising People and a table and 2 chairs to sell merchandise along with basic AC/electrical. (to light up the merchandising table)
DRESSING ROOM Purchaser to provide a CLEAN, DEDICATED “secured” Heated or Air Conditioned changing area large enough to accommodate (8) people. This must be READY and available to ARTIST (1) hour prior to Show.
CATERING Purchaser to provide band and crew with a case of each of the following: Coke, Sprite and Bottled Water “on Ice”. Some snacks (Cold Cuts, Sandwiches, Pizza and Cold Beer) are optional but would be nice! Please contact ARTIST REP / MANAGEMENT for ARTIST preferences… When traveling, the band really appreciates these things …Thank you.
SECURITY The Purchaser shall provide sufficient SECURITY AT ALL TIMES for ARTIST, their Equipment and Vehicles from arrival through departure after show.
PARKING: Purchaser to provide secure parking for 6 vehicles and (1) 24’ box truck OR passenger van with trailer.
