I can do a full variety of hits from the 1920's through 2011 or a full program of specific music types or eras you prefer. Please listen with your headphones or ear buds for best results?! My TWO large Bose Sound Systems give clean STEREO sound that will get you dancing or just remembering each song like an old friend! My live performance on lead vocals with piano and brass gives the illusion that the background tracks I have added are live musicians and singers performing perfectly with me! You have to hear it to believe it! You will understand every word at any volume that suits the room or area. Any announcements you want to make personally will be crystal clear as well.

I learned from the best, working with the US Navy Band touring for four years and working with such Mega Stars as Bob Hope, Natalie Cole, Nancy Wilson, Percy Sledge, The Drifters, The Coasters, The Ink Spots and many others. I have been featured as a published singer/song writer on National and Nashville Network Television over a dozen times in the 1980's.

Bob became an entertainer at age 5, started getting paid at age 13, & became a full time professional at age 17! Graduate of the US Navy School Of Music, he toured with the US Navy Band for 4 years, performing the USA, Hawaii, Japan, Philippines & Vietnam.
Bob has worked with Bob Hope, Natalie Cole, Nancy Wilson, Percy Sledge, Sonny Boy Williamson, Charlie McCoy, Dottie West, Bertie Higgins, Ace Cannon, Tom T. Hall, Jim Ed Brown, The Coasters, The Drifters & Raphael Mendez. He has performed for two US President's, Johnson & Nixon! He has toured the USA from Florida to Alaska (including Canada).
In the 1980's, chosen over thousands of competitors, Bob became a finalist on Nashville Network Television's talent search, "You Can Be A Star." All songs performed were his originals. Bob got perfect & near perfect scores for every performance. Calling him "one of the best", NNTV asked him to return to Nashville to perform more shows on later dates.
Bob is a published singer/songwriter who wrote "Do The Same" for the National Blood Donor's Association's Blood Drive commercial of 1984. It ran nation wide! "General Hospital" TV star Jackie Zeman was shown walking along a Pensacola Florida Beach with a beautiful child who needed blood. Bob played the piano & sang his original song in the background while Ms. Zeman made her plea to donate blood.
Though he can provide an act with him just singing and playing the piano for something subdued or intimate, Bob has been fine tuning his "Awesome Bob One Man Variety Band" for over 35 years! MORE BANG FOR THE BUCK, it has been "beefed up" well above the usual one man band! His rig can compete with the sound of a full sized band costing up to three times more yet books for the price of a one man band! Bob has memorized over 3,000 Pop, Country or Gold Standards Variety cover songs! Re-visit the hits we all grew up with from the 1920's through 2011 (when he "semi-retired"). Inspired by the recording studio perfection of popular DJ music, Bob plays keyboards, trumpet, flugel horn & sings lead, ADDING the high quality "note for note" background tracks to make a full rich band sound! It's a unique hybrid of perfect DJ sound but with the excitement of a LIVE PERFORMANCE entertainer! To be competitive with the bigger bands, a show like this takes much more equipment than an average one man band. It takes 2 1/2 hours just to set it up! Bob uses 2 completely separate Bose Sound Systems to give excellent stereo effect! There are 4 sub-woofers for plenty of "thump" at a big party but Bob can also play in a small "supper club" atmosphere on a ten x ten stage! His "shotgun approach" playing a wide variety of hit songs is aimed to please everyone's taste from young to old and jazz to rock or country or old standards! It's been said "you can't please all of the people all of the time" but this is as close as you will get! Bob will be traveling to you from Sequim, WA on the Olympic Peninsula. That means hours of driving round trip, gas, toll roads or Ferry expense for him, his van & trailer. Hours to set up all of his equipment & a few more to pack it up again. Divide all of those hours into the money being asked plus the payment to Gig Salad for the lead and it comes to a modest profit. After all these decades Bob still loves to perform & still feels it is worth it. As long as there is a stage that will have him Bob will be on it giving you everything he's got to make your event a special memory to keep.
