BackSpin Horns & Rhythm

I had such an awesome night when I saw Back Spin!! The music was awesome! The singers did an amazing job and were very entertaining. I loved that some of the guys were highlighted during the songs. Their talent is awe inspiring! There was a wide variety of music played from multiple decades. I will definitely go back and see them again!

Really enjoyed listening to you guys play a Grindstone last week. It was extremely entertaining and very well done. The only thing that really made it uncomfortable was the lack of heat which I’m sure they will have fixed by now. Looking forward to seeing you again thank you.

Sunday night at the Grindstone Tap House, on the world’s coldest night, the band Backspin filled the room with the flavors of music from the 60’s to the 90’s. The floor came alive with undulating and twirling dancers who never sat down as the brass punctuated, the saxophones glided, the rhythm section purred and the singers soared. What a treat! Chicago, Reba MacIntyre, Diana Ross, U2, Dolly Parton, Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Sadé, and Tina Turner rocked the night, the band playing a total of 3 sets! The music was balanced, the groove was smooth, and the band really enjoyed spicing up the evening.
The tap house was full of patrons, with cooks sending out delicious pierogies, wood-fired pizzas, and potato skins along with other tantalizing entrees. Really tasty food. The waitresses did a fabulous job of keeping up with the crowd, especially our own, Jen A, who was polite and friendly under pressure and took it all in with a smile. She made us feel welcome and kept our Guinness and soft drinks full. Bravo to Backspin and hats off to Grindstone for a fabulous and fun night!
