Bagpiper Nick Lewis of Kitsap County, WA, offers heartfelt performances for the most meaningful times in your life: weddings, funerals, vigils, and other celebrations of life. Competing as a solo, quartet, and band bagpiper across the US since 2009, I bring a quality, award-winning sound to my performances. My musical experience across genres, including classical violin, Irish fiddle and bagpipes, and Norwegian Hardanger fiddle, infuse a distinctive musical perspective into every performance. The most rewarding part of being a bagpiper is to see listeners moved to tears at the powerful yet reverent renditions of meaningful and significant music during pivotal moments of their lives.
We were blessed to have Nick play the bagpipe at our high-school graduation. He was professional, timely and sounded great! We hope to use him again next year.
Nick was phenomenal. He came to play in my father's Celebration or Life. Everyone loved his performance. My dad never had a chance to listened a bagpipe live performance before, he always wanted to learn how to play them as it is part of his roots, so I'm grateful of what Nick did for him postmortem.
Response from Bagpiper Nick Lewis:
Thank you, it is always an honor and privilege to play at these meaningful moments in life, and the many tributes to your father were beautiful.
He was great to work with. He suggested that he play outside as guests arrived and provide the processional music.
