The Baker Brothers Big Band & Jazz Combos

Whether you hire our 17 piece jazz orchestra or swing band, the Octet, Quartet or Trio, our attire is always Tuxedo unless you desire something a bit less formal. Our library music is exceeds 600 charts and our set-lists are created to accommodate your specific event. We are always prepared to take 'special requests' from the customer or guest. We play music from The Great American Song Book, straight ahead jazz, jazz standards, contemporary jazz, latin, blues, etc. etc.

All of our bands feature Bass player Peter Marshal, Pianist Leslie Sharp and Drummer Dan Baker. Marshal has played with Carlos Santana, The Pointer Sisters, Woody Herman, Jimmy Heath and others. Sharp, is a 'top call' prolific studio musician in Los Angeles. Drummer, Dan Baker, is the Band Leader and freelances in combos and big bands throughout Los Angeles. As for the Big Band, Octet and Quartet, all of the musicians are "LA Top Calls" playing professionally throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
