Denys Kinchev is a Ukrainian artist, musician, composer, balalaika performer. Graduated from the Kyiv Conservatory, balalaika class. Laureate of Ukrainian and international competitions. Genres Ukrainian folk music, classical, improvisation. The balalaika in his hands sounds like a modern instrument.
Denis performing internationally in China and Malasia, Dubai, and Thailand.
He now moved to Vancouver BC due to the war in Ukraine.

What to Expect
Balaika is a stringed musical instrument, commonly used in Slavic Folklore cultures. You will be thrilled by the extraordinary repertoire of widely known Pop, Jazz, Classic, Folk, and World Music pieces.
Denys has been worked on International festivals, concerts, special events worldwide.
He plays Ukrainian Folklore, classical pieces, pop and rock. He works with other musicians, he also improvises jazz and adds percussion into his shows.
All shows run from 15min to 1 hour.
About
Denys was born in the city of Prylouky, Ukraine. Started studying music at the age of 11, he graduated from the Kiev Music Conservatory in 2014 and since then he has been traveling performing as a musician in
Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Dubai, and across Ukraine.
He decided to move to Canada due to the war in Ukraine 2022. Now he resides in Vancouver, BC. He is opened to any projects, cultural, private and corporate events.
