I can’t rate Anna high enough!!!! Every face that was painted at my kids birthday turned out phenomenally!!! And the care and compassion she gave was amazing!!!! She was great! She arrived and set up on time, offered a variety of options, even free handed a picture. She was so good with the kids and make accommodations for each kid. She even stayed late to do balloons for the kids.

I got the pleasure of getting a sunflower face painting done by Anna! It turned out absolutely beautiful! Full of color, designs and love. Anna has a gift and takes so much pride in her work. I loved our conversation during and loved the fact it was so incredibly easy to get off. Not to mention- have you seen her amazing balloon work?! The kids go wild for those! If you’re looking for someone who loves what they do, will keep your kiddos entertained with all positivity- I would highly recommend Anna!

Anna did an outstanding job on the face painting at our church’s reformation party!
She painted a monarch butterfly on me and a dinosaur on my little boy.
She also had done a few other face paints for my boys before and they always love them.
Such a fun way to add a little something extra to your event. And it makes the kids feel extra special!

I chose Banana Jackson Face Painting for our work event today at an assisted living facility. She was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond! All of her face paintings were beautiful and she even made time to paint some of our residents faces (plus 50+ kids) and some of our staff! She brought bunny ears that she gave to all the kids as well! Highly recommend! Thanks again so much!

What to Expect
I generally arrive 15 to 20 minutes before I'm to start painting. I need time to carry in all my gear and get set up! Once set, the painting shall begin!!! While painting I'm very engaged in not only creating something beautiful but giving the participants a fun experience. Cracking jokes, being silly, telling stories while painting... all this is just who I am! Kids also enjoy looking all the pins on my painting apron. If no music is playing, I'll generally play my own music at my table. Dancing may ensue... LOL!
About
I've been married for more than 30 years to my college sweetheart. We met and married in the first years of Bible college with the intention of becoming full time missionaries. That adventure never materialized, however, and my husband served in the Air Force for the next several years following college. After concluding his service we worked together as artists for an evangelistic ministry in Los Angeles for the next 15 years. Today my husband is a local full time artist. while I work in the insurance industry. This face painting business is a wonderful outlet for my artistic bent and for ministry work. Our family is very involved in our church and welcome you for a visit to Covenant Church, on National Road in Vandalia.
Additional Booking Notes
My general availability includes Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday after 5 pm, Saturdays all day, and Sundays after 2pm. (No Tuesday evening availability during the school year since I help teach an English as a Second Language class at Light of the Nations in Downtown Dayton.) I generally don't perform more that a 35 minute drive from Vandalia, Ohio... I'll go up to Tipp City and down to Beavercreek...if requested farther out then additional travel fees will apply. These are general ideas, but there are types of events where I might be able to bend these and make exceptions...so please ask whatever you like and we can talk it through!
Services Offered
Setup Requirements
You must arrange for the adult supervision of minors. I cannot watch or supervise children, sorry!
I need protection from the sun, wind and rain, in the form of a shelter for outdoor events. If you do not have a shelter, I can provide one at an additional charge.
Adequate lighting must be provided. If this is an outdoor event, held at night, electricity for lights will be needed.
Outdoor events must always have a backup indoor location. (Outdoor events that end up cancelled due to weather events and lack of a backup indoor location cannot be refunded...sorry! Ask me about this policy for more details.)
