Band Diego offers San Diego wholesome fun for all ages! Enjoy timeless oldies variety band with so many styles for dancing or listening enjoyment. Vintage-retro 50's, 60's, 70's classics, surf music, old-style country, doo-wop, and even some songs sung with Spanish lyrics. Hire musicians who regularly perform for family parties, community BBQs, birthdays, anniversaries, holiday celebrations, dances, senior events, golf courses, marathons, sock hops, hotel gatherings and corporate festivals.
Proudly serving San Diego California area as a local fun band. Male & female singers in every group. Enjoy our duo, trio, and quartet specialty player choices of up to 10 musicians who all sing.

I booked Band Diego just before Christmas for January 5th birthday party. Very busy time of the year. I had never used GigSalad, so I was not sure how the process worked, or if it was reliable. No sooner did I place my request, that I received several options for the night of January 5th. Rhonda answered my call and is super professional and approachable; she was making Christmas cookies with her grandkids when I called. From our first conversation, she made me feel super confident in her abilities and her willingness to work together to create the best night. I wanted a classic country sound with an element of modern and Latin twist. Band Diego came through and provided all of that and so much more of an overall experience. One of my favorite parts was the party sing along during the final set. My guests got so involved that they never left the stage and Rhonda and the band were wonderful to welcome all on stage. Yet it never seemed too of control or corny. We danced and sang and even did the chicken dance just after singing happy birthday. Everyone was having such a good time, and one of my friends offered to pay for an extra hour and had them stay longer. I would recommend this band hands down to everyone who wants to have a great and memorable family time, with all ages. My guest were 1 - 91, and everyone was having a blast. I trusted her judgement and music choice for the night and Band Diego did not disappoint. I opted for 5 band members, plus Alicia, for the Latin music, and they were all super talented.
I need to add that it was a cold and rainy night in El Cajon, yet they performed with no complaint, and out performed the rain. No one cared that it was raining, as it just added to the coziness of the night.
I will have them again for other events and would recommend them highly.

It was a pleasure being part of your excellent planned birthday for Mike! We appreciate you welcoming us to your beautiful home. You had fabulous things ready for everyone to enjoy and created such festive warmth throughout the evening. There was an upbeat positive vibe from start to finish!
Super comfortable atmosphere and so many beautiful loving family and friends participating on stage.
That homemade marinated apple pie and carrot cake were sure a hit too!

Band Diego did an amazing job for our annual Homeowner''s. summer party in Coronado. Our theme this year was Shake, Rattle, and Roll , back to the 50's. . Band Diego rocked the house, were very interactive, got everyone dancing. Great playlist, worked closely with me on the D J. track. "Rockin Rhonda" was a blast to work with.
Very professional and lots of fun!

Serenades available. You can sing a marriage proposal, Happy Birthday, or even sing with the band. Interactive fun music activity options for guests!

"Band Diego" offers San Diego Oldies Variety Band Music. Clean wholesome fun for all ages. Your guests will tap their feet to the spirit of the beat as they enjoy favorite classic hits. Upbeat numbers will keep you moving or slow down to close dance groovin. You can always count on Band Diego to perform the right music at the right moment.
Enjoy more vocals and songs than many other local San Diego area groups can offer you. Even Duo Band Diego bands have at least 2 musicians that sing lead and harmony. Male and Female singers in each group. Option to Include a package that includes Specialty Spanish lyrics singer.
Want to sing your own serenade to a loved one? Band Diego will be your band while you are the specialty singer. (Includes a band practice before the performance)
Small or Large band options. Volume control smaller bands use backing drum tracks perfect for hotels, restaurants, communities, and home parties, Choose a Beach Band, Oldies Variety Band, 50's 60's Band, Old Style Country Band, or Spanish & English Fiesta Theme Band. Duos, Trios, Quartets, Quintets, up to ten performers.
Electric or Acoustic performances with or without drummer. Band Diego also has a battery-powered PA that is perfect for golf courses, marathons, and areas with no electrical outlets.
Purchaser: Please plan to provide your own permits and insurance for the music performance as required at the party location. Please plan to provide onsite parking for the entertainers. Band Diego knows it is important for you to be able to choose exactly the right entertainment for your party and works closely with your celebration program.
Enjoy a wide selection of music appropriate for hotels, restaurant banquet rooms, home parties, outdoor events, patios, yacht clubs, country clubs, community dances. Songs to please all ages! Accommodating family oriented performers. Electric or Acoustic performances with or without drummer.

Band Diego - Purchaser(s) Agreement
Purchaser(s) of Band Diego Entertainment shall provide parking for each entertainer, cover if rain or wetness, general lighting over performance area, and a power outlet/electricity when entertainment is amplified. The band requires to pull up vehicles and unload gear as close as possible to performance area.
Purchaser shall pay for parking for entertainers at performance location on or before the performance day where applicable. Travel charges shall be added if your celebration is out of San Diego area.
Please discuss gear load-in with Band Diego such as hillsides, parks, sand, stairways, terrain, because your party location may require specific instructions for the band to be able to load gear into and out of your party facility and we do not accept all locations due to equipment. We have traveled to Catalina and other areas in California but the purchaser quote will need to be adjusted with travel add-ins and transport time for the services needed at your location.
Please check your party location for their requirements before hiring the band as you may need to get permits or insurances that this quote does not include. Prices may vary due to your choices, the band size, specialty music, custom selections, location, travel charges, gear needed, and the length of time entertainers and gear will be at your party. Band Diego Policy is No Refunds. Please have cover if it rains or a backup plan for an indoor show if weather conditions are hazardous.
Purchaser(s) may use the Band Diego name to advertise a performance date for the date and time that purchaser hires Band Diego to perform. Purchaser(s) generating gifts and/or revenue agree not to leave feedback on Gig Salad regarding Band Diego. (Applies to all performance purchasers even Non -Profits) Band Diego performers are not responsible for tickets sales, raffles, donations and hopes you generate income if that is the intent. The Band Diego mission is Entertainment. We have excellent reviews.
Purchaser shall confine animals away from performers and performer's gear.
Purchaser shall provide lighting so the performers can see their instruments when performing, setting up, and tearing down gear. Even indoor performance areas need some general lighting over musicians. Many patios can be too dark to see in the winter by as early as 5:30pm and in the summer as early as 7:00pm.
Please provide a clear path at parties through driveways, tables, doors, and gates so musicians can get to the performance area without obstructions.

Setup Requirements
Plan to provide parking for each entertainer, cover if outdoors and rainy, a level hard surface such as a stage, patio, or floor, general lighting & an electrical outlet near performance area if you choose amplified. Provide 3-4 ft per musician.
Band can perform in grass but please let us know so we bring correct gear for location requirements.
Band has some lighting for musicians if outdoors or dark.
