Luis Barbaran best known as "Barbarito" was a former and main singer of "Johnny Polanco y su Conjunto Amistad" from 2005 until 2015. Luis Barbaran is a Peruvian singer born in El Callao and has an extensive musical history and has performed since age 13. His unique style of singing Salsa dura has made him popular in the salsa clubs in Los Angeles. Barbarito was invited as a special singer at the 2020 Salsa Congress in Los Angeles, Ca to honor Johnny Polanco's musical achievements.
Luis and his band were everything we could have asked for! They were professional and had great communication from the booking date, they wanted to make sure that we had a great night. They also did a great job personalizing the event for the birthday girl, which meant so much to our family. And of course they played so beautifully and incredible salsa music all night. It is an impressive setup for a family party to have a live 8 person band playing, so book them! Would highly recommend them for any event!
