I'm a didgeridoo player, teacher, and professional DJ based in Palm Springs, CA. For over 20 years I've been the go-to didgeridoo player for film, television, commercials, stage, and recording studio production. I'm available for corporate and private events, and can also provide pro DJ services!
Past work includes commercials for Outback Steakhouse, appearances on NBC's "The Doctors", "Good Morning America", "My Name is Earl", "Blind Date", a commercial for Subaru Outback, and didgeridoo sound FX for Steven Spielberg's "War of the Worlds". Corporate clients include Apple, Qantas airlines, Paramount Pictures, HBO, DreamWorks SKG, Walt Disney, Proctor & Gamble and United Airlines.
Mr. Martin played for our 1st,2nd and 3rd graders today. He held their attention while playing music, telling stories and explaining how the didgeridoo is played. His explained how they were originally made and how more modern didgeridoos are used in music. It is obvious that he really enjoys sharing his music with children. The students were immediately impressed with his skills and knowledge. I would highly recommend him.
Response from Barry Martin:
Thank you so much, Kerry!

In addition to recording and film work, Barry can play didgeridoo solo-style in an ambient/atmospheric scenario with or without amplification. You may also choose to have an ensemble with didgeridoo, hand drums, guitar, etc.
When playing solo/ambient style, Barry brings along several didgeridoos that are displayed on a special rack. It's an impressive set-up, but it only requires a small footprint of about 6 square feet, which includes space for Barry to perform in.
Ambient-style also means that Barry can interact with the audience one-on-one, answering myriad questions about the ancient instrument as well as offering a quick, impromptu "lesson" for whomever wants a chance to try out playing a didgeridoo! This is always a big hit as heaps of kids and adults always want to give it a go.
