This is my second time using Barspririt. There was a minor miscommunication and they showed up at my office where we had the first event, instead of the venue where we were actually having our holiday party. After a quick phone call and clearing up the snaffu, they hustled over to the correct venue and was able to set up the bar station before the event started. So it all worked out. I appreciated their professionalism and the attendees loved their service and drinks they served. Will definitely work with them again.

Communication was a bit spotty until right before the event. But the day before the party, they were locked in. The bartender we had was lovely and very go with the flow with some last minute changes. All in all, it was a solid experience!

Our waitstaff for holiday gathering was great. They were on time and ready to help with anything. We will recommend and work with again. So glad we contacted Barspirit for our holiday gathering.

Booking was straightforward, and they were able to accommodate my request for a bartender for a party with 50+ guests a week before the event. Joshua and team are professional and very communicative. Our bartender Bianca was wonderful and makes a delicious spicy margarita! Very satisfied with the service and will definitely consider for future events.

The two initial waitstaff were ok, they left food on charger plates and plates when I specifically asked them to rinse out food on all plates. A third waitstaff was sent erroneously and her appearance was questionable. Cake was cut without asking me first.

On time, friendly, and my guests loved the bar experience.

There was some communication mishaps before my event (somehow there were 2 contracts with 2 diff dates for my event which resulted in two sets of emails to schedule a bartender). The grocery list was helpful but was WAY overbought on ice (by 50%).

Both the servers were professional and personable. They were a pleasure to work with.

I hired Barspirit for a corporate event in Santa Monica with more than a hundred employees. The said event was catered by one waitstaff and one bartender. They were polite and very prudent. They arrived an hour before the start time to prepare the drinks and the bar. The service area or the bar rather was maintained in order and the service was amazingly quick. I never heard a single complaint from the guests.

Andrews was a great bartender. Very friendly and has great communication skills. Everybody had a blast with him.

Barspirit is excellent at bartending. They communicate very well with clients too. Their estimate cost for drinks is much more reasonable compared to other bartending services. Peter was our bartender at that time - he was quick and created great mixes. He was with another crew who served drinks t the guests. I saw great in them - neat and perfect. Barspirit was absolutely amazing very hands on. The “signature cocktails” were delicious! The bar was perfectly stocked up with supplies and they came with such a great energy - everyone raved about how great our bartenders were! I would recommend them to anyone who asked.

We are very pleased with their service. I did not expect that they were truly as great as the reviews say. Peter is the best bartender you could ask for. He creates the best mixes. I tried to get an additional server VERY last minute but they didn’t show up. Why the 5 star review then you ask? Well, because we ended up doing just fine without the 5th server! I got a refund promptly and an apology from the owner and it was handled with immediate care and attention. That’s all I could really ask for. The 4 servers we did get, ROCKED the gig. Friendly, attentive, on-time, and professional as ever! Even with the tiny scheduling mishap, I’m still going to use their services in the future. They definitely deserve 5 stars, and more staffing notice from me in the future for sure! I’m so glad I booked them! The party we had went so smoothly thanks to the staff and we’re very happy with the way our party turned out. :D

We hired Barspirit to bartend our grandmother's 80th birthday party and for the most part everything went fine. However, we heard from many of our guests (aged 40 years+) that they felt our bartender was rude and unpleasant as if he did not want to be there. He was friendly and very helpful over the phone, so we are not really sure why things changed once he arrived. Drinks were fine, we just needed someone with a more upbeat attitude for our family based party.

Our wedding was during COVID-19 and Barspirit could not have handled it better! They were always super responsive and very flexible (originally, our wedding was planned for last year in March (2020), but we had to cancel due to everything going on).
The staff was extremely nice and professional on the day-of, helping with things even outside of their scope of work. The drinks our bartender made tasted AMAZING and they are overall just the nicest people!

We are really happy we found Barspirit and will definitely use them for future parties like birthdays, etc., once COVID is over.

Barspirit Premier Bartending Service is the BEST wedding bartender in Los Angeles you can imagine. They have amazing and affordable bartenders and servers for hire. Their event staff is top notch and the drinks taste amazing. We had them for our intimate wedding ceremony and you can't ask for better wedding bartenders! Our guests were super happy and I'd hire them again in a heartbeat!

I worked with Josh on setting up an event from NY in LA. Josh took the time every day to update me, do the shopping for our wine tasting event and ensure ALL the details were at a very high expectation for our event. Our sales team who worked the event with Josh in LA was so pleased with how great the service was with Josh and his staff bartender, they want to continue to hire Bar Spirit with Josh! I highly recommend hiring them for any event because they are very professional and will ensure your event will go amazing.

If I hadn’t repeatedly insisted on hearing from the actual helper, I would have been without the help I paid for. The night before Thanksgiving, after multiple emails to BarSpirit, I learned that the helper had never actually accepted the assignment, as he was in hospital. A new person was found in time. She showed up early, was polite and willing. She did help get everyone’s plate to the table. She didn’t follow instructions - that were provided in writing- like not putting the fine china in the dishwasher. She did have time to do the majority of the dishes before dessert was over and it was time for her to leave. I found all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher. That was disappointing. I’ve had excellent help through Gig-Salad before. This was not terrible, but it wasn’t great.

I highly recommend XBarSpirit to staff or bartend your next event. Our waitstaff hire was James who showed up early, dressed impeccably & ready to handle all we needed. He also had a great personality (which is always a plus). Thank you!

I spoke with several of them myself during the event, and was later commended by guests, regarding the warmth & professionalism of the Staff. This, I too, can attest to. I personally had great experiences.

My only note (and reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars) -is that I don't think they continued to re-serve food & drinks as the night wore on, and after the initial dinner service.

We hired Josh and his team for our 200 person wedding and couldn't have been happier with their company! Neither my husband nor I drink (at all) so we needed bartenders that would take the lead. In comes Barspirit to save the day.

Originally, I was very unsure about who to hire for our wedding because I didn't have any personal referrals and had interviewed so many companies and everyone promised such great things. Barspirit was the most direct and honest so we went with them.

Pros:
- The amount of liquor suggested was perfect.
- Josh and Peter are super responsive to all my emails and phone calls
- Guests had ALL good things to say including: They gave more liquor to guests who could handle it & mixed down drinks for guests who were starting to lose it (I had emphasized I wanted everyone to at least make it through dinner)
- They're good looking (super shallow haha but if you're shallow like me then rest assured)
- dressed professionally for our wedding, which was important to us because we wanted our wedding to look classy ;)
- Got along with everyone!
- Able to work in any situation, I realized afterwards that I forgot to buy a few ingredients but no one was the wiser
- Came early to set up, stayed after to clean up
- They even made a mock-tail bar for us fizzy juice drinkers & kids
- They brought along some servers to help everything run smoothly (paid for and agreed about up front, of course!)
- Price cannot be beat!

We used Barspirit for our wedding reception. Laura was our bartender and she was fabulous. We were told by many of our guests that midway through the night she already knew them by name, knew what drink they preferred and when they approached the bar she had already started making it before they arrived. She even noticed when a guest's drink was approaching empty and would stop by their table with a new one.

We had about 65 guests/alcoholics and the line for drinks was never more than two people long, and she was busy the full five hours. She is a very nice girl and smiled and chatted with our guests at the bar all night. She was reasonably priced (Laura, I hope you made a lot of tips). She went so far above and beyond what I would expect from a bartender.

I hired Barspirit for my wedding reception on August 26, and...I don't even know what to say...A-MAZING service. Don't bother with anybody else. Seriously.
As the bride, I couldn't walk 2 feet without being stopped to pose for a photo and if it weren't for the amazing bartender and servers from Barspirit I would never had eaten or had had a drink. They were incredibly professional, fun, attentive to me and my grooms needs as well as our guests, and my guests raved about them afterwards. I guess the bartender was remembering people by name, asked my groom about his nickname, and made it feel like an episode of Cheers, as if she had known everybody forever. The servers were great, made sure I had whatever I needed, took care of my parents, and at the end of the night, the bartender and the two servers congratulated me and we all hugged and it just felt so good. I really feel like we were in the best hands possible, and I can't thank Barspirit's Bartending Staff enough for being on the ball and really elevating our event to the next level. Barspirit is phenomenal, and I wouldn't hire anybody else, ever.

Barspirit did our wedding just this past Saturday and we loved them. The bartenders looked professional and were friendly and hard-working. They were on time and delivered as promised, carrying the heavy boxes of wine from the kitchen to the bar area and then taking the left over boxes back to the kitchen at the end of the night. The most important thing for a wedding is a vendor's reliability, and it feels good that we were able to trust them with our precious day. We only served beer, sodas and wine so it probably wasn't as stressful as running a full bar, but I have confidence that when I can offer signature drinks at my next (way smaller) event, they will handle it with just as much grace. They had plenty of ice to keep everything cold, and it all looked presentable.

We had some servers and bartenders from Barspirit for our wedding reception. They have great event staff that is proactive, super friendly, and very accommodating. All of our guests felt welcomed and enjoyed the drinks and the service. Also, they are very affordable. Glad to recommend!

Barspirit was great! Long story short, we received an outstanding consultation up front on what drinks we could serve. After we managed to make up our mind from the endless choices of cocktails, we proceeded with the booking and received a shopping list where everything was listed in detail. The entire booking process was very (very!) easy and thorough so we were guaranteed not to miss anything. They carry adequate licensing and insurance, which I heard is very important for a lot of venues.

As for the staff itself, they were fabulous. They arrived early to set up their mobile bar and get everything started and they were always on schedule. We told them upfront that we wanted a toast at 4 PM and at 3:58 PM our coordinator got the message that people may pick up their Champagne (or ordered cocktail) for the toast.

Everyone at Barspirit was extremely accommodating and had only the best for us in mind. I felt really cared about and I think that is by far the most important thing when you get married.

Barspirit's bartenders were fabulous! We found Barspirit on Yelp with fantastic reviews so we contacted them and got a response within minutes (while still contacting others who took much longer). So we decided to move forward after getting a quote and everything was really pleasant. The contact with Joshua, the owner, and Peter, the manager, before our wedding was very straightforward and they explained their process in detail all the time so we knew exactly where we were standing.

They helped us create a really neat bar menu with some twists on classic drinks and they sent us a copy of their insurance for our venue. Overall, the booking procedure was very straightforward and transparent.

On the day of the wedding, as you can expect, it was very busy so we didn't have much time to think about anything. We didn't even hear the bartenders coming in or setting up. They were just there all of a sudden, ready to go, which I thought was great!

They checked in with our coordinator to make sure everything is in place and started serving right away (because some people decided to show up early).

The drinks were delicious and the bartenders were fantastic!

I'm glad I booked Barspirit because you never know what you will get, otherwise.

Barspirit was part of our special day and it couldn't have been any better. The bartenders made everyone at the reception feel comfortable and welcomed. The drinks were superb and the vibe they provided gave our day the little extra! I'd be glad to recommend Barspirit to anyone who's looking for a bartender.

Josh and his team are true heroes! The response-time is unbeatable: we always got a response within minutes. The process from the initial contact up to the final booking was very understandable and they took care of us. They made sure that we were covered along the way from the number of staff we will need to how much alcohol we should buy.
It all worked out perfectly! There was (almost) never any lines at the bar and the whole place was kept neat by the servers. The staff was very accommodating and checked in with our planner every other hour to make sure everything keeps running as it should.
Our guests and family was amazed by how good the drinks were and loved the friendliness of the bartenders.
After the ceremony, they helped cleaning up and stayed even a little longer than we booked them initially.

We found out about Barspirit at a friend's birthday party. We inquired about our monthly Friday night's at-home happenings. We did the paperwork by email and coordinated over the phone in the week leading up to the party. Pricing was much cheaper than most services out there, and we were able to rent a small bar for a flat fee in addition to the service itself.

We had around 50 guests and we were able to supply our own alcohol and mixers. I was hosting a large Halloween party and was very busy preparing for it in addition to my work so it made it very difficult to connect prior to the event by phone. I sent an email wanting to discuss drink options and although they responded of course immediately it was always there was an internal issue they had to deal with. I did speak briefly to the bartender prior and found English was not his first language and he was hard to understand over the phone. I emailed this to barspirit and got an it's all good email in response.
The night of he arrived early which was good and a relief but then asked if I had straws and then sparkling water. id never hosted a bar. I was buying stuff blind. It really would've benefitted to have a phone consultation prior to the party. Lastly I had him books till 11. It did slow down but he asked if he could leave by 10 to catch the train.
All in all the party went fine but I would not use them again.

Super easy to book! They have the best customer care I have seen in quite some time and I was really impressed by their prices. You really get the most bang out of your buck with Barspirit. Our bartenders were fantastic and helped us with deciding on a bar menu and gave us a list of things to buy for our party. I am so happy I booked them and will definitely get them for my next party!

When Jonathan and I got married everything went up and down and sideways. Well I guess that's how it is when you get married - chaos. Within that chaos, 3 brave members of the Barspirit team trying to get us back organized and helping out wherever they can (the bartenders were the only ones having a knife big enough to cut the cake because our caterer forgot theirs). I am so thankful that there were there and were such a great team that I chose to write this review. Thank you guys for everything!

I enjoyed the communication with the ladies and gentlemen of this business. I work as a party planner and I am truly joyed by their professionalism as it can be hard sometimes to negotiate prices, get contracts sent back and lastly there is always that last bit of nervosity if they are actually going to show up on time. Working with Barspirit has been a great experience in the past and I am looking forward to more successful events!

I almost gave up hope with my party. I planned a theme party and everything was though of – costumes, invitations, catering, music, performers, etc. Well the only thing I didn’t think about was the bartender. My party was in two days and I hadn’t thought about the fact that people would need something to drink. I contacted various bartending services in the area, but of course none of them were available on such a short notice. Then I found Barspirit and as soon as Joshua responded to my quote (on Yelp within 10 minutes) I was relieved. He said they would be available and took a lot of stress of my shoulders by letting me know how easy everything would be.

One bartender for 4 hours only cost me $140, of which I had to pay $80 as a deposit up front. That was paid really fast and easy on their website and only took me 1 minute (and 12 seconds – I involuntarily timed it). While I was doing that he sent me some cocktails he would suggest for my party theme and they were awesome. A cocktail called “ShyFi” ended up being the favorite of everyone for the night. Not just did he send me a cocktail list, but also a list for the shopping I would have to do with exact amounts of bottles and ingredients. Just to make that clear: all of this happened within 2 hours and literally saved my party! Thanks a lot for your great service and being so understanding and available.

Btw I forgot to mention, but the bartender was also awesome and came even dressed according to the theme!

Communication is key in the service industry and this company is on point. Joshua Mentrup, the owner, answered promptly to every of my emails and calls and was friendly at all times. From that point on I knew this was the company to go for. The servers arrived on time, were professional and even helped cleaning up longer than they needed to. I will definitely hire Barspirit for future events!

This is by far the best service I have received in the past couple of years! Originally from Canada I am used to very polite people and so I have to say I had quite a culture shock coming to America. But these fellas have made me believe again as the owner, Joshua, is German, but the good kind (if you know what I mean). Very proactive, always super helpful and certainly on point with business and professionalism. I am very happy to have chosen him and his team because his bartenders were just as great! They really brought the fun to the party (not that the party wasn't fun, but they were just amazing). I would definitely recommend anyone thinking about getting a bartender (or any other kind of staff) to get it from Barspirit. They have the best work ethics and are even cheaper than most services out there! 10/10!

The drinks were fantastic, the service was fantastic and the party was fantastic! The bartenders brought the vibe to the party and I am so happy to have hired them! Definitely recommended!

I have been booking Josh and his crew of Barspirit for a few jobs now on some of the houses I manage. The hosts (mostly brides) were always extremely grateful and happy about the service he could provide; if it was a bartender or even coordinating on location. Besides that Barspirit has been a great help with coordinating and planing multiple events that went great and I look forward in keeping a healthy working relationship with them. I would certainly recommend Barspirit to anyone who is looking for a qualitative and friendly service.
