Original songs ranging from songs that celebrate wisdom earned and life's secrets to ballads of social justice, sung by Bonnie Allyn and Chuck Hoffmann interspersed with a few covers often sung by Chuck and accompanied by Bonnie's amazing harmonies. Powerful, unusual, driving rhythms created by both Bonnies guitar and Chuck's unique percussion array produce a dynamic, larger than life sound, around their stories told through song. A unique duo, vocally and instrumentally they weave together their rhythms with emotion and power to produce original songs that stir deeply and speak the unspoken, for the silenced and unheard, quiet voices in society.
Bonnie Allyn leads this duo with original songs written from her varied and rich life history. From singing in the choir as a child to performing in various groups and solo she has honed her musical talent to a razors edge, with creative and edgy lyrics, amazing vocals and her unusual guitar rhythms. Combining her style with Chuck Hoffmann's non traditional, organic percussion style (often compared to Mickey Hart) incorporating African drum gourds, congas, Native American flutes, and a variety of percussion instruments they create catchy, unusual rhythms for her songs that make this duo's sound so unique.
