Jennifer of Bel Canto Strings did such a great job playing violin during our wedding ceremony. We were very open to song choices, and trusted her to go with the flow and play what she felt was best during most of the ceremony. She couldn’t have done a better job! Hiring Bel Canto was the perfect touch to our wedding day!

The music was beautiful. The two musicians were amazing. They prepared perfectly suited music for the event. I had been in contact with canto strings. Since March. When I started planning this celebration I wasn’t sure if this would take place in the hospital, church, cemetery- indoor or outdoor. They responded to all my questions and said yes to every scenario. I really appreciated their patience and quick response once the date was set. My father and our whole family really enjoyed hearing them play so beautifully.

Room's acoustics and size of the crowd / loud background chatter prevented full enjoyment of the music. Not Gig's fault, but in future Gig might wish to advise the client of best way to maximize enjoyment of the music.

Jennifer and her team played beautiful and made all of our music flow beautifully. We would use them again in a heart beat. The whole process leading up to the wedding was reassuring.

I feel bad for not being able to thank Jennifer properly on my wedding day. Unfortunately things were far too busy. I don't have a single bad thing to say. She was absolutely brilliant. I'd recommend her to anyone who asks me. She's so clever and talented. The whole process of picking out songs could not have gone more smoothly. And it just sounded amazing. I was tempted to pick a violinist from Toronto to save money, but I definitely got my money's worth. Don't doubt it for a second.

Bel Canto Strings played for my daughter's wedding on August 8th 2015.
They were absolutely fantastic. The quartet sounded amazing and they were very professional. Jennifer was extremely helpful in planning the music for the wedding and always replied to all of the questions that i had prior to the wedding.

I hired a string ensemble for my wedding in November 2011 and my wife and I were thrilled with the professionalism the musicians showed. We first met the co-ordinator, Jennifer, at her music studio on York Blvd for an appointment to discuss our wishes and requests for the ceremony. She helped us to choose music by playing songs on her violin and giving us recommendations. She was also able to accommodate our request for The Luckiest to be played when we came down the aisle, even though she had to write out an arrangement of the song especially for us and our wedding. On the day of the wedding, the musicians were all formally dressed, arrived punctually, and played wonderfully. We couldn't have asked for more and we think the music added the perfect touch to our ceremony.

Jennifer and Adam's violin & cello duo was an awesome touch to my wedding. My guests all commented on how beautiful the music was during the ceremony and I was really excstatic that they were able to play all my song requests (theme music from the movie Princess Bride for my processional as a bride, Viva la Vida by Coldplay for my recessional with my groom) as well as a lot of other elegant classical music as my guests arrived.
