In high school he participated in Football, Basketball, Track, and Baseball. He chose a scholarship to play football at Grambling State University for the great Eddie Robinson. He then went on to play professionally in the Arena Football League for 5 years. Once he retired, Coach Esprit immediately went into Coaching in the Indoor Football League where he was blessed with a ton of success. He then went on to extend his Coaching career on the high school level with his first stint being at powerhouse St. Pius X in Houston Texas for 3 years. He then moved back home to become a part of local High School near his hometown for the next 4 years where he had an opportunity to coach in the state championship football game. He completed his high school coaching career as a Head Football Coach, Head Track Coach, and the schools Athletic Director with championships and loads of success.

He is a loving Husband and Father of 5 beautiful children and a Proud member of his childhood church currently serving on its council. Coach Esprit gives all of his success to God to whom all has been made possible.
