We had Dana come to our Telehealth Remote Nurses Rock Retreat at the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, SC. Oh, did we have a great time. She had all 50 of our nurses up and learning the basic steps of belly dance. After only 15 minutes we were all doing it! She was just the right kind of entertainment in between our speakers and presentations for the nurses. I recommend any event to hire Dana for the little exercise break at a convention or retreat type of event. Men love it too and yes; they can belly dance too. She had many scarves for the nurses and even tambourines. Thanks, Dana, for being so sweet and kind to our Nurses.

Dana belly danced for a women's luncheon celebrating my mothers 90th birthday, and by the time the performance was over she had everyone up and dancing! She is a joy to watch, her skill and personable nature are sure to win over any crowd - maximum stars, highly recommended!

Dana performed at our wedding reception and was absolutely phenomenal. All of the dances she performed fit so well with our celebration. Our guests loved having her. Prior to the actual event, she was extremely responsive to questions and requests, and very easy to coordinate with. She was willing to tailor her performance for our reception and easily accommodated several requests. She is reliable, we would absolutely book her again, and we highly recommend her.

Our daughter has always loved restaurants where she is able to watch belly dancers perform, so when it was time to plan her 8-year-old birthday party, we searched on GigSalad for a local belly dancer. Dana was the entertainment for her Arabian dance themed birthday party, which we held at our house and hosted about 20 very excited little girls. Dana definitely exceeded our expectations! She had previously sent us photos/videos of herself dancing, which we found highly impressive (she can even dance with a sword🤩), but we didn’t know much about her experience with teaching children the moves. Well, she was absolutely a natural as she was able to organize the girls, provide instruction, and win their affection at the same time. Dana arrived at our house ready to dance with her sound system in hand. We provided the girls with colorful coin hip scarves and flower clips for their hair, which were a hit. She taught them how to make the belly dancer call and a few basic moves, and then she performed for the girls. Once they were mesmerized by her awesome moves, she had them stand again as she explained the game she had planned, which was displayed on a poster she had brought as a visual. The girls would participate in 3 events before earning a bindi as a prize. The events included learning several specific dance moves, how to dance/walk with scarves, as well as dancing while balancing a basket on your head. Our daughter, who doesn’t love the spotlight, said she felt very comfortable when Dana called her up to dance with a friend, and Dana had brought a very special bindi for her to earn as well (lots of sparkly rhinestones). I really enjoyed watching Dana teach the girls these dance moves, because she was able to really break them down on kid level and related the movements to everyday actions. A bunch of the moms, and even a dad, joined in the dancing. We give Dana all the stars because she is a shining star and every girl (and their brothers as well) had an awesome time. I wish we could upload videos to share because they truly capture our experience. Thanks So much, Dana!
