With nearly 20 years of experience, Sara has performed at countless public and private events including restaurants, weddings, birthday parties, surprise parties, celebrity galas, Fiesta and sporting events. She is known for her talent with finger cymbals and fluid, curvilinear style.

A lively and engaging performer, Sara loves audience interaction often adding a touch of humor to her performances. All shows are family friendly. Music, special props, additional dance styles and costuming are customized for your event!

A typical performance is 20-30 minutes and includes:
• A dramatic entrance with veil or wings (space permitting)
• Finger cymbals accompanying instrumental, contemporary or pop music
• A balancing act or floor work
• An exciting drum solo finale
• Fun dancing and photos with guests!

Captivating belly dance entertainment for your next special event! In just over a decade of dedication to Middle Eastern dance, Sara has developed her signature style characterized by a curvilinear fluidity and soulful expression.

Sara did not become interested in dance until 2003 when she was looking for a new form of exercise. After learning a few basic steps from videos, she pursued formal training in Middle Eastern Dance with master instructor Karen Barbee Adkisson of Karavan Studios in 2004. Today Sara teaches choreography at Karavan and continues to study with Karen and many other world renowned Middle Eastern Dance professionals.

Sara is a popular performer in San Antonio as a soloist for restaurants and special events. She can be found performing weekly as one of the principal dancers at Mina and Dimi's Greek House and with the Karavan dancers.

Please allow plenty of time to book your event. Sara is often booked several weeks in advance. Last minute events and holidays may incur an extra fee.

Pricing starts at $200 and is based upon type of performance, number of sets and location. Quotes for gigs outside of the San Antonio area will be assessed for travel time in addition to performance cost. A deposit of 25% is required to finalize your booking.

Performances that start later than the agreed upon time may incur an extra fee. Please keep in mind that dancers often have more than one performance scheduled per night.

I will need to know if your event is inside or outside, at a residence, event venue or in a public setting.

I will also need to know what kind of surface I will be performing on (concrete, stage, grass?). I would also like to know how many guests will attend, and what kind of audience to expect (Turkish, Egyptian, American, etc.).

A good sound system is essential to a great performance! I have my own sound equipment for smaller events. For larger events, I will need to know if there will be sound equipment or a DJ available and what kind of media to bring (CD's, iPods).

Costuming can be tailored to your event. Tummy, body jewelry and tattoos can be concealed at your request.

I may bring an assistant for security and help with equipment.

In the extremely rare case that guests are inappropriate toward the dancer, the music system is not working properly or if there are any circumstances in which Sara deems a performance unsafe or impossible to continue, she may at her discretion end the performance and is to be paid in full.
