About
Bahira knew that she was destined to become a bellydancer. She found an instructor in 2000 (Where were they all hiding?) and has been shimmying ever since. She has studied with many local instructors (Rochester NY, Harrisburg PA, Hampton Roads, VA & Atlanta, GA) as well as numerous professional talents. Bahira has been performing with troupes since 2001 as well as solo work - restaurants, soirees, haflas, etc. All styles of bellydance are a delight for Bahira. While Bahira’s foundation is strongly rooted in Egyptian bellydance, she also has experience in various dance styles ranging from Cabaret, Turkish, Lebanese, Persian, Tribal & Fusions such as Bollywood Fusion. You can find her with zil, veil, cane, candle & sword. With utmost attention to detail, Bahira takes pride in captivating audiences with exciting & unique performances.

Setup Requirements
A sound system with (pick one) cd______ or MP3 _____playing capabilities shall be provided by client. The sound system is an important part of the show and should be tested prior to the arrival of the performer. Louder is better.
A safe & adequate space for the performance shall be provided. This includes a floor free from broken glass, spilled liquids, or other hazardous objects. This also includes an environment free of harassment of a sexual nature or otherwise.
