I play classic country, soul, and rock music, either as a one man band or without drums as an acoustic act.
In my one man band set up I sing, play guitar, harmonica, cajon, and other foot percussion all at the same time.
Ben made our wedding reception phenomenal. He learned every song I asked of him, emceed really important moments, and rolled with the punches when we changed up the agenda. Best of all, he can read a room and play up or down to the noise and energy level. I couldn’t be happier. Book him for your event.
Response from Ben Bostick:
Hey Lucy! The pleasure was all mine. Thanks so much for asking me to be part of your wedding and trusting me with the responsibility. Cheers to an exciting new chapter!
Ben took my stress level to nothing. He was early to set up, played an incredible set with many beautiful renditions creating a great atmosphere for our party. So many compliments from our guests! Can’t wait to have him back soon!

Thank you, Eden! It was a joy. I'm so happy to hear that the guests enjoyed my music. Till soon! -Ben
Ben played for our couples shower this weekend, and we all haven’t stopped singing his praises since. He was so easy to work with, and had the best attitude in the hot GA heat. Not to mention his amazing talent!!
Response from Ben Bostick:
Thanks! I had a blast playing for y'all. I'm eastbound, just watch old bandit run!
Wonderful!
Response from Ben Bostick:
Thanks, Angie! It was my pleasure.
Ben a down to earth guy. Great music
Booked Ben in a more last minute situation for our wedding anniversary and he was more than accommodating especially given the fact he had another event right after. Ben learned the song from our first dance in just a few days (then executed it flawlessly), was early to be set up and already playing to make the moment right, which set us up for a very memorable evening. Great musician, great guy, great time guaranteed when you book!
We contracted Ben for a business conference and all I heard from the public and vendors was that we couldn’t have brought a better musician to entertain during our event. Ben was on time and very responsive to our questions prior to our event.
We look forward to do more business with him in the future!!!
Roger
Response from Ben Bostick:
Thanks, Roger! The pleasure was all mine. I'm glad everyone enjoyed it, and I look forward to working with you again in the future. -Ben
Working with Ben was great. From the first contact till the event. He is super accommodating and the people at the party loved how he was able to get them on the dance floor. Not the easiest task with a mixed American and European audience. I would recommend him to anybody and for every event. Can't wait to meet with him again.
Response from Ben Bostick:
Thanks, Rob! The pleasure was mine. And congratulations to you and Marina! I hope to see you down the road in the not-so-distant future. -Ben
Ben Bostick performed at our 40th anniversary party last weekend and did an awesome job with his one man band. He played a wide variety of country music and got the dance floor moving with the young and older adults. Ben was a perfect fit for our party and we couldn't have selected any better of an entertainer! We plan on seeing him perform again when he comes to Bakersfield!
Response from Ben Bostick:
Thanks, Patty! I had a great time, and I look forward to seeing you again one of these days in Bakersfield.
I consult for Bars and Restaurants all over the country, and I've hired Mr.Bostick Several times.
The challenge I constantly have in my field is that every venue I improve or help, requires so many variables, and music is a big variable. Ben is able adjust in so many ways, which make things possible or me and my clients. Working with is easy and just fun.
I fear there is not enough room on this page to describe my experiences with Ben Bostick. From our very first encounter on the phone, and briefly after that, me spending the next 2 hours listening to his (then) 4 song EP, over and over, I knew I had to have him play at my brewery. At the time, I felt as though I had discovered something so rare and unique. I couldn't book him fast enough. I am truly humbled by a man that relentlessly follows his passion for his art. That passion shows through in his music and his words. It's an unlearned talent that very few possess. Ben Bostick has it. I have had the pleasure of his company, and that of his band mates at my brewery several times now. He has a regular place on my calendar, and makes the long trip every time. Weather he is solo, duo, trio, or quartet, every song is delivered as if it were meant for something greater than the room he is playing. I've told him, on several occasions, I want to book him as much as possible, before I can't. Keep an eye on this one. He's destined for great things.
I've had the pleasure to work with Ben for the past two years. His vocals and talent on the guitar are truly a sight to see. His engagement with the guests make him a performer you would not want to miss.
I highly recommend him for any type of occasion. If you like country and folk then you will want to check him out.
I've had the pleasure of seeing Ben perform many times at his weekly gig at The Escondite in downtown Los Angeles. He is an engaging and entertaining performing with a real knack for telling great stories through well crafted lyrics. His songs range in style from upbeat, foot stomping country tunes to mellower, contemplative folk type songs to straight up rockers. Ben is also a prolific songwriter who seems to being writing new material all the time. On top of all of that he is a stand up guy and a pleasure to be around. I am confident Ben will be a hit at any type of event he is booked for.
I saw Ben performing in Santa Monica
He is a ONE MAN BAND
He has great skills and he is very easy to work with.
I highly recommend him.
We hired Ben because we'd heard him play and loved his sound. It was a great decision and the best money we'd ever spent on entertainment - everyone who came to our party loved his music as much as we do and we're hoping we can get him to come this way again! He played his amazing original music, and also played several requested covers by Willie and Waylon (be sure to ask for "Mamas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys! He had everybody charmed with his warmth in addition to his musical ability. Our gathering was comprised of mostly adults but a few children came for awhile, too, and Ben was easily able to modify the words of two of his originals so the parents of the young ones would not be concerned! He's a lot of fun and one of the best song writers around. Love his sound and will see him next time we are in California, but most of all we hope to get him for a private occasion again.
It was my wife's idea to have live music at our house party, and I have to say it was one of her better ideas she's had! Ben was awesome:) loved his style of playing. Was authentic and soulful sounding. I Especially liked when he played Jonny cash tunes and his originals were great as well! He was professional and very friendly. Our guest loved him and took his info as well. We will for sure hire him for future parties and events that we have:) We highly reccomend hiring Ben, especially if you're looking for that country, Americana folk kind of sound! He's authentic and the real deal.
I hired Ben for my boyfriend's surprise birthday party, and he made the night all that more special. He knew all of our favorite songs plus he played his amazing originals as well. I highly recommend him for any events out there, especially for country fans. He has the best voice to accompany his poetic lyrics!
Ben Bostic is a genius artist and a true professional. He showed up early and his sound system sounded great. I like real country and he played some of my favorite songs, even took a couple requests. I will definitely hire him again!

I bring a full PA system and all the necessary gear. I often play situations that demand quiet, fingerpicking folk music, and I just as often play all out countrified rocking soul party music to keep the dance floor moving, either with my one man band rig or with my five piece band. I have a large repertoire of classic country, soul, rock, and folk covers plus 3+ hours of original music. I dress for the occasion, show up on time, and always strive to exceed expectations.
Ben Bostick is a Carolina-raised, Georgia-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His influences range from Johnny Cash and Bruce Springsteen to Otis Redding and Tommy Emmanuel.
After leaving home for a decade of rambling and toiling at odd jobs, Bostick blew into California and decided to try his hand busking on the Santa Monica Pier. To the great surprise of the former ranch hand and roofer, Bostick found that he could make a living playing music. Ben saved his busking money and used it to record his debut EP, My Country, in 2016. No Depression says, “he comes on like an unholy alliance of George Jones and Merle Haggard.” My Country was nominated for an Independent Music Award in the Roots/Country category.
His debut album, Ben Bostick (2017), takes on a more progressive country tone, recalling such artists as Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson, and showcases his versatility as a songwriter. “This eponymous album is so well written that it is to look into the heart of the divine, a true great,” says Liverpool Sound & Vision.
Hellfire (2018), Bostick’s sophomore release, is a collection of high energy songs written during his band’s yearlong weekly residency at The Escondite in downtown Los Angeles. It was during this residency that Bostick solidified the lineup in his band and set out to write material to suit the players and the venue. Lonesome Highway says, "Bostick has a wicked & wry sense of looking at things and amidst a gumbo of Country, Rockabilly, Blues and Rock we are treated to plenty of drinkin’, hard partying on Saturday nights, lustful love flings, poor boy messes and just downright bitter and mean men - loners set to do you harm."
September 2019 brought Bostick and his family to Atlanta, GA. Back in the beautiful southeast, he plans to keep making music and playing 200+ shows a year. His latest album, Among the Faceless Crowd, was released on April 17, 2020 to universal praise. The Daily vault says, ""The haunted feel and moral complexity of these songs inevitably bring to mind Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska. It’s a point of comparison one should never make lightly, but it’s merited here thanks to the exceptional craft and affecting power of Bostick’s songs."
A power outlet makes life easier, but I do have a portable power rig which I use often.
