As a trumpet player in the LA music scene, my goal is to bring the highest quality performance to your private events, sessions, weddings, parties, proposals, memorial services, you name it!
I've been working as a professional touring and recording trumpet player for the last 8 years, and have always felt that the trumpet brings a certain flair to live events and performances that you just can't beat with other instruments. I often perform solo, but upon request, am surrounded by many incredible musicians to form a live band with a full rhythm section and even other horn players!

Ben was simply superb!! He was patient and incredibly cooperative while I got myself sorted for my event. At the very last minute I had decided that I would like him to accompany the music I had chosen for evening dancing and he made it happen, his playing fused perfectly with the very specific form of brass songs I had chosen-now, if that's not talent, I don't know what is! The crowd loved him and we hope to have him back again. Highly, highly recommend!

Ben was phenomenal as the surprise trumpet player at our wedding. Being at an outdoor park it wasn’t easy to find a way to have music playing while my wife walked down the aisle. Ben was fantastic to work with. We hired Ben to play the trumpet for our graduates during their procession at Harvard University. Ben was professional, flexible, timely, and a very talented musician. Ben also helped us find a few additional musicians to play some jazz music for our graduates at breakfast. I hope we can work with him again soon!

After working with a client to figure out a plan that works best for both parties (time, date, attire, repertoire, etc.), I usually arrive an hour early to chat with the client about the upcoming event and finalize any last details. I also always make an effort to connect with clients by phone, text, or email beforehand to get a better feel for the style and ambiance of the event and how to add the most without doing too much. Depending on the style of the event (wedding, party, funeral, proposal) and the instrumentation (Solo trumpet, trio w/rhythm section, brass quartet), the performance will be directly tailored to the client's individual needs whether that means loud and extravagant or soft and in the background; Party style fun or a more classy feel are all available and encouraged options.
