Fantastic night filling the room with songs for everyone to sing along and created an atmosphere of fun and positive vibes! What a talented man playing so many good songs from different generations and genres, we were fortunate to have him part of our night!

Benny was amazing. He blew everyone away with his talent. He played for my husbands surprise party. Remember us when your famous Benny!!

Benny was fantastic! Apart from being a pro performer, when we had to move our cocktail hour inside because it was too cold for our guests, he packed up his equipment and set up inside in record time. He played us a couple songs after dinner for our first dance and it was perfect!

Had hired Benny for a 50th party to play some music for guests to enjoy. He did such an incredible job. Everyone was impressed and thoroughly enjoyed listening to him. He played a great variety of music for all to enjoy and was soooo great to listen to. He is very talented and professional and I would highly recommend hiring him for your next event!!

Ben was the perfect touch to our wedding day! He played for our cocktail hour and did an amazing job. He was so easy to work with, good (and fast) at communicating and was very professional. Ben was a pleasure to have. He read the room amazingly and adjusted the setlist to the audience. willingly and patiently took requests from a variety of age groups and everyone thoroughly enjoyed his performance. This guy is the real deal, his kind demeanor equally match his talents. Mingled and Blended nicely with all the guests and was overall was the highlight of our evening.

After hearing Benny Douglas play just once, I knew I had to add him as an opening act at a private party headlined by The Trews. Benny did not disappoint! The crowd was immediately drawn in by his unique sound; a perfect combination of artists such as Tyler Childers, Zach Bryan and Chris Stapleton. They were on their feet, singing along to his expertly crafted set list including covers by these artists as well as an original song called “Gettin’ to Me.” So many in attendance asked where they would be able to see him play again! For now, Acoustic Night at Brewer’s Blackbird in Ancaster will be full of those for whom one night was not enough. Ben is simply an incredibly gifted musician. If you’re looking for someone who will make people have a good time, feel relaxed, and make the atmosphere of the room be genuinely happy, he’s your guy! From a special event such as a wedding to a casual evening at the pub, he knows how to read the room and deliver exactly what it is that you’re looking for and more! Good looks. Better music. What more can I say about Benny. I caught his live performance at Brewers Blackbird and fair to say I’ll be attending another one of his shows. He’s got a great vocal range and plays a good mix of old and modern music. Definitely knows how to keep a fun positive vibe would recommend for any live music event.

We recently had the honour of having Ben perform at our wedding, and we are so grateful he was there to make our day extra special. Benny is a charismatic, incredibly talented musician. I had the pleasure of hiring him for the local Ancaster pub The Brassie. We catered to soloists/duos as the space isn’t huge, though that didn’t stop Benny from putting on a phenomenal performance. His sound set up was state of the art and perfect for the pub. He played classics, some new hits and some of his original work. He read the room and catered to the crowd which was made for happy patrons and an overall successful night for everyone! Highly recommend hiring Benny as he was a pleasure to hear and work with!
We continued having him back on occasional Saturdays!

Ben is the best! He sang and played guitar at our wedding in 2019 and I could not have been happier. Super easy to work with, comes ultra prepared and the voice (and guitar skills) of an angel. Multiple people came up to me after the ceremony to ask who he was - super impressive! I couldn't recommend him more. Hire him for all your event needs!

We had Benny Douglas do the music for our wedding and he did a fantastic job! He was able to play almost any style of music we could ask for. I've seen him play in many different settings, from weddings to bars to playing at Nathan Philips Square. In every one of those environments he's done amazing!

Ben played my at wedding reception and was the most professional, talented and friendly person that we could have asked to play our very special day. He did all of the set up for the sound equipment (which he thankfully provided for us) and everything went without a hitch. I would 100000% recommend ben for any event, from a casual night around a camp fire, to a rowdy bar to a romantic wedding this man will pull off any of your musical needs without a doubt in my mind. On a final note while we had cocktail hour he played requests from our guests, and this man is a walking jukebox. He was playing everything from Bruce Springsteen to Bruno mars, you name it he can sing and play it.
