Beth the Bagpiper

For weddings and funerals, I will communicate with you prior to the event to best cater to your needs.
For informational performances, your audience will enjoy an assortment of music (marches, hornpipe, slow airs, piobaireachd), as well as learn about the bagpipes and about being a bagpiper.

Hi, I'm Beth Butts, and I'm a bagpiper. I am the Pipe Sergeant for Colum Cille Pipes and Drums and have been playing bagpipes for four years. During the 2020 Covid Pandemic, I played 30 volunteer performances for area nursing homes, in hopes to raise the spirits of the residents. I have competed as a solo piper in Grade 4 Senior, and have placed in the top 3 frequently. My goal is to share my joy of the bagpipes with everyone I play for.

I am available for birthdays, weddings and funerals, as well informative presentations where I give a little history and insight into the bagpipes and my journey, as well as play. If you want a drummer to join, my good friend Katie Zanello is available for gigs as well.
