I have absolutely no complaints at all with Beth's Party Service!
I decided to get servers last minute, and was able to book within 2 weeks of my event.
From the minute I inquired about servers, Beth was prompt with her responses, upfront and clear about the services they provide and their VERY AFFORDABLE fees.
There was a blizzard the day before my event. So, we had to reschedule. Thankfully, Beth stayed in touch as the day approached, and she was available the following week.
Beth and Linda arrived promptly at the scheduled time, dressed to impress, and jumped right in to assist...greatly easing my mind with their professionalism and suggestions.
During the event, they were EXTREMELY polite and attentive....especially to my Husband--as it was his birthday party.
Overall, Beth and Linda were an added asset to my event and they left a lasting impression on all of my guests. I highly recommend Beth's Party Services! We will be using their services again!!!...soon.

Beth has worked for me since 2014 helping out with a variety of functions at both our home and office. I have said it time and time again, "I would never host another party or holiday without Beth's help." We have hired her for Baptisms, Thanksgivings, birthdays, office parties etc. She and her staff are professional, friendly, hardworking, knowledgable, organized and just a pleasure to work with. It is so nice to host a party knowing a I can actually sit down and socialize with my guests and enjoy the event knowing that Beth has everything handled. Beth has worked for us for 3 different events at 2 different homes and she is always a huge help and service to me. She arrives early, took directions well and got to work! This is always the time I am running upstairs to finally get ready for the party but I know everything is in good hands with her. Beth is lovely. My guests always comment how good she is…how friendly she is. Beth works hard and stays late. At different parties and at different times she’s prepped for, cooked food, replenished food, bartended and cleaned. She works hard and always goes above and beyond. I would recommend her to others for sure.

To be honest, I was not satisfied with Beth. While she stated she arrives early to the event, many of our guests were in place and she arrived late (1 hour to be exact)!
She was not professional in her pour and many of our guests said her drinks were not consistent and far too much alcohol for a 9 ounce drink.
My guests complained to me. Even still, my guests tipped quite generously. When the event was over, Beth was immediately requesting her payment as well as travel and additional gratuities. I took care of both as I hold to my word. But I would not recommend Beth.
On the other hand, we received complements for Irene the waitstaff. She was pleasant, arrived early and went over and beyond what was expected! Gracious, thoughtful and attentive to our guests.
She was a joy to work with!

I'm replying to this review, I've been in business since 2008, and this is only the second review in all the reviews I got that was unsatisfactory
I did this party with Irene,
I drove to this event 1 + 1/2 hrs away from my home, and there was a accident that put me behind schedule .
I had told the host what happened and he was glad it wasn't me in the accident and that it was OK since the party hadn't start yet. He had just arrived to the party location 5 mins before I did
When I arrived, there were only 3 guests there
I set up the bar quickly and even when the bar was set up, noone asked for a drink yet, until almost 1/2 hr later
The guests were telling me how well as I doing so I'm not sure why he said they complained to him There was one guest, that told me how good my margaritas were and drank about 5 of them There was still alot of alcohol left, and probably wouldn't have been if I gave large amounts that he said I did
I only stopped serving drinks, towards the end of the party, because they had ran out of
plastic glasses for me to make them in. Also he said my drinks were not consistent, I'm a great bartender it's hard to make good drinks without the proper items which he didn't buy, I sent him a shopping list too.
As for the payment, he came to me asking me how much he owed us about 1/2 hr before we had everything cleaned up , I didn't tell him until he asked me too .I gave him the amount and took money off because of my lateness
I got there at 5 and was scheduled for 430 so I was only 1/2 hr late and we were scheduled till 930 and didn't leave till 1050
We didn't leave until we cleaned up which was 20 mins after the time he paid us for
So I'm really confused about this review When we left everyone said Thank you, great job
On Thanksgiving, we will be working our 2900th party, and I don't think I would have done that many parties if clients were unhappy with my services.
And I would be happy to give money back if ask

Beth and her team worked as the waitstaff at my daughter's 200 person wedding. They were professional and easy to work with. They anticipated our needs and as the mother of the bride, I did not have to worry about a thing!

Beth's Party Service is the most affordable in the area. However, you get what you pay for. They did show up late to the event. Working with them was a little tricky and had to go back and forth many times to use our corporate credit card to pay through GigSalad as opposed to cash on hand at the event or the PayPal that she was encouraging. In order to accomodate for GigSalad booking fees on their end, we even gave extra money for her hassles as well as tipped in advance. At the event, even though we tipped in advance, they continued to put out tip jars. We asked multiple times for them to remove and they would, temporarily, and then put them back up.

This is my first review, from all the parties we have worked and in all the reviews we have gotten that wasn't 5 stars
Not once in this review, did the client state that we gave bad service.
In the part, that we were late, isn't true, the 2 bartenders that worked with me, were early.
And I was just 5 minutes late, I got lost, and couldn't find the building, in the office complex
This person was the one that booked us, works in an office in Ohio. She wasn't in attendance at this event.
She didn't see how hard we worked, and how we broke down all the tables at the end and helped the people that actually worked at the office in Conshohocken
They thanked us for our hard work, so I'm surprised at this review.
I was one of the bartenders that worked this event, and she mistated the part about the tip jars. At first, we didnt put 1 up, and then someone asked us, why we didnt have a tip jar out.

DID SOMEONE ASK US TO TAKE THEM DOWN .
She wasn't there, so I'm not sure why she would say that. We made about 15.00 to split between 3 bartenders which did help with the tolls we spent on the turnpike
I would happily give that small amount back
And the part about paypal, they needed to pay thru a corporate card, so they paid thru gigsalad
She told me, she would pay my gigsalad fee, since it was in her budget to do so.
So I'm not sure why she would come back to say I asked her to do it.
All in all, we did a great job, and I'm sure this is all about the money, for some reason
The people at that office would have given a great review for our service and for the person that wasn't even there to give a review about payment and a 15.00 tip from the bar is ridiculous
If you look at all our other reviews, which are all 5 stars, you will see how well we work, in giving you the best service for a low rate
Great service! I highly recommend it! Maria came to my house on time and was working nonstop until the end of the party. She was nice, organized and ready to help when needed. I would definitely will hire her again

"Be a guest at your own wedding" sums up my experiencing using Beth's staff to assist at my wedding on 9/9/17. Beth was so easy to work with for scheduling and Terri, Steve, and Chris were absolutely the reason that my wedding went perfectly. All three, and Chris in particular, anticipated our every need. From saving my husband and I plates of food to feeding our dog (so thoughtful!), to saving specialty foods aside for gluten free and vegetarian guests all the way down to cleaning up and helping with candle lighting, they were just perfect. I would hands down recommend them and have been talking about the service to anyone who will listen. Seriously, do yourself a favor and book with Beth, and ASK FOR CHRIS!!

I wanted to send you a HUGE thank you for sending Joe, Jessica and Steve! Not only were they all extremely professional they went above and beyond what we had expected.
Joe and Jessica handled the kitchen, food prep and deployment with such ease ~ so much that I didnt even know when it was happening!! Immediately upon arriving, they took over the kitchen and basically told me and my mom that they had it taken care of ! And they did!!!
Steve was an awesome bar tender and definitely took care of our guests needs. My dad was so impressed, he said "that guy was looking out for me all night, I didnt even have to ask him for another drink.. he just kept handing them to me" And he Made and served my signature drink just the way I wanted it!! People loved it!!! His bartending skills and professionalism was superb!
Once again Beth's Party Service proved to be the number one asset to my event! We couldn't of done it without you guys.. and we will never have another event without you present!!

This is the first party that I have ever hired a server to help us and I chose Beth's Party Service because Beth was extremely quick to give me a reasonable quote and the reviews for her company were so positive. Beth sent Michelle to help us for our event. Michelle helped us with last minute preparations before guests arrived and then she took care of everything while they were there. I first hired wait staff through Beth's party service for my corporate event in Bethlehem PA. I needed two servers to upkeep buffet and walk around with some appetizers. Nikki and Blythe went well beyond what was expected and made the event go smoothly. They helped me with setting up all the decorations and place settings and cleaned up leaving the place immaculate. I was so impressed with this company I contacted Beth for service again, this time for a private party I host every summer for my family and friends of about 65 people. Blythe was sent as the bartender and did a fabulous job again. She was able to come up with tasty drinks from the sporadic supply of alcohol I had attained over the years. She was professional and quick with all of my thirsty guests! The server sent was Kathy who was awesome! I had quite a few things that needed to be prepped and cooked such as salads and baked desserts. She was able to juggle it all, upkeep outside buffet and pass around appetizers, cook and prep, and kept my kitchen immaculate. She was very polite and hardworking. Beth's rates were fair and her communication about both events were quick and professional. I don't know when my next event will be but I know where I'll be hiring help from!

I had so many compliments from my guests about their professionalism and pleasant personalities. It was fantastic! Their presence also gave me peace of mind throughout the event. After hosting 10 New Year's Day parties for approximately 75 people, we decided to have someone assist with the party this year. After reading the testimonials from the website, we chose Beth's Party Service. Beth was prompt with her arrival and ensured that all of the chafing dishes were refilled when needed. She also maintained the kitchen and went around to discard of any empty cups or plates. Having Beth at this year's party gave us the opportunity to mingle with our guests and just enjoy ourselves without the stress of worrying about the food, keeping it hot and cleaning up. Beth served our Halloween party last month. Our friends and family are still calling us about how great a party is was. We have this event every year, but this is the first one we brought in help. Sure glad we did....Beth and her team, came in and literally took charge. We had about 65 guests in costume. My wife and I stayed in costume through the entire party, and didn't have to lift a finger. We didn't even answer the door. Beth and her team did it all. We asked them to arrive a half hour early, and we had a short meeting, and the rest is history. We prepared the food (also brought some in) and supplied the liquor. The bartender was first class with a seasonal pre-made cocktail garnished "Ginger Mojito" that everyone loved. He served everyone quickly and very professionally. Keep our bar area neat and clean, and didn't allow anyone to get out of hand. He actually asked a couple people if they were driving.
The staff backed each other up at busy serving time, and made sure no one wanted for anything. They were polite and efficient. Clean up was a dream, They washed, cleaned and put away our dinner ware, utensils, and glassware. They even took out the trash.
The price was fair when we booked it. However, after the party we felt it was under priced for the exceptional service. A few of our guest took business cards from Beth to call for their private parties and even a business event was discussed with me for information.
We have already booked her for our annual Holiday event and our 4th of July picnic. In the end they took care of us, and we rewarded them handsomely.

Beth was a real asset at our party. She is one of the hardest workers I know, and always seemed to know what to do. From the beginning of the evening to the end, she never stopped working. Without being told, she took charge of getting all the food set up, making sure dirty plates were removed, and keeping serving plates refilled. Beth's help enabled me to spend time with my guests and enjoy my party.

She took right over when she got there, took care of the food, trash, clean up, but also zeroed in on quests who had some handicaps and made sure they were taken care of. We had a backyard engagement party--an opportunity for both families to meet. I didn't want to be tied up running in and out of the house taking care of the food, drinks etc. I had never had any servers for a party and it was an adjustment for me. We have an annual summer party with 100+ guests. We hired Beth last year to help with the general party maintenance so that we could enjoy the company of our guests rather than run around taking care of the party. Servers
All of our servers have taken a online course of Serv-Safe, learning the rules of food safety and food handling
Pre-Event Prep
- Set up tables and chairs
- Assist with food preparation
- Arrange buffet areas (using chafing dishes or wire racks with aluminum trays) for buffet-style events
- Set out snacks and dips
- Pre-heat appetizers

During Event
