For cocktail parties and dinner parties I can do strolling magic. I approach groups at the party doing a few minutes of magic for them. I know when not to interrupt! That is a skill so many performers don't seem to understand. Guests like me. That may sound generic but it really is the basis of doing a good job. Performing magic is not about ego. I graduated from Penn State in 1997 with my B.S. in marketing. I worked for a company for a year, using the marketing, and putting up with the B.S. I quit and began performing full-time (then living in New Jersey) in 1998. My show quickly became popular and over the next 10 years i performed roughly 400 shows a year. From that experience I know 3 things.
1. I know that being prepared for anything starts with being on time.
2. I know how to make people laugh and be amazed
3. i know not to drive toward the jersey shore on a summer friday afternoon.

FAMILY COMEDY SHOW:
I have a wireless, battery-powered PA system, microphone and music. I have all the tables I need. I just need a 8 foot wide, 6 foot deep area for my show and space for the audience.
Outdoors is ok if the weather is comfortable for the audience to enjoy the show.
I entertain the adults too so I hope they will watch. If I am there for the kids and the adults are watching a football game or otherwise engaged, a seperate area for the show is required.
BALLOON ART:
I just need a spot to stand.
FACE-PAINTING:
I need the corner of a table and 2 chairs.
STROLLING MAGIC:
Cocktail party style setup or if people are seated then tables of 6 or less is best. 100 people at one long table will not work for strolling magic.
