Jake was available every time I contacted him and replied within the same day. He was great for our group, which was a group of highschoolers at a private Christian school doing a fundraiser. He is very reasonably priced and was very kind and easy to communicate with.

Everyone enjoyed we love to book again in future.

Using provided details about my spouse, Jake spun a personalized and hilarious roast for my husband’s 50th birthday party. Good fun was had by all!

Jake did a great job. We are glad we hired him. It was very loud out in our yard where performed, but he handled it well.

We hired Jake for our wedding reception to keep our guests entertained while we did pictures. He did accommodate our budget and drove 4 hrs round trip to do our reception. For that, I give him all the stars. However, I asked him to come upstairs when he arrived just to have a chance to meet him. He didn’t and that was disappointing. The feedback from our guest was really mixed. Some guests loved him, others were really put off. Several said he didn’t seem comfortable with his material and/or that it seemed he was flying off the cuff and missing the mark. Nevertheless, I will give him all 5 stars for showing up and entertaining the guests that enjoyed it. I had hoped it would’ve been a bigger hit with everyone but it is what it is.

Our event was geared toward the 55+ population and we had a lot of fun with this guy. Feed back from the crowd has been good. The younger the crowd, the feedback was "He was so funny" . The middle aged group really liked him. The oldest of the group, 75 and older had some trouble relating, but loved the overall night. If you grew up loving Everyone Loves Raymond or Seinfeld you will get Big Jake Hovis.

Jake performed for our bachelor party. He gave amazing jokes given custom material. He adapted to us well and made the performance interactive which was nice. We were all laughing the whole time!
