I Am A Professional Elvis Style Entertainer, Not An Impersonator. My Show Is Dynamic, Entertaining, family Oriented, And Up Close And Personal. I Recreate The Music& Excitement & Look Of The King Of Rock-n-roll While Being Very Much Myself.
I Have Been Performing Since I Was 11 Years Old. My Vegas Style Show Is Designed To Please Elvis Fans And Non-Elvis Fans Alike. It Is About Music And Fun For All Who Love To Have A Great Time And Leave, Happy They Came.
My fiance, her sister and I were wondering what to do for their mothers 70th birthday. We agreed on an Elvis impersonator to sing a song to her and wish her a Happy Birthday. Her sister suggested Mr. Brooks, so my fiance contacted him and told him what we were planning. We had just wanted him to sing the one song and wish her a Happy Birthday. He said that was OK but the price for his appearance was the same whether he sang one song or did his routine. So we said he could do his thing since her mother was an Elvis and country music fan. We planned this about eight months in advance. The day finally came and so many of her relatives; those living near and those long distance, had agreed to come to the party that it turned into a Birthday/Family Reunion. No-one knew what to expect. It couldn't have turned out any better if Elvis himself had come to sing. Mr. Brooks made her Mother feel like a Queen and center of attention. He involved the whole room, not leaving anyone out, from the youngest to the oldest. He was an amazing performer and showman. I wasn't an Elvis fan before the show but now I am. After listening to some Elvis songs I do believe Mr. Brooks has the better singing voice. He sang for almost three straight hours and kept the audience's attention the whole time. He talked with the people and made everyone a part of the festivities. We were very pleased with Mr Brooks and his assistant Ms. Plat. Like they say in that commerical Mr. Brooks $250.00, that day Priceless!!! He turned our Party into an event with so many good memories.
I'm rather appalled by the review the lady left about Mr Brooks being rude et al. I have been to several of his shows and have never observed any such behavior from the gentleman. He has always been a crowd pleaser and we enjoyed his show every time we went. I suspect that this reviewer had his/her entertainer mixed up with someone else.
Bill played to a packed crowd at Evergreen Fish and Steak House. It was a great preformance, enjoyed by all who attended. He is loved by the very young to the older population. A great singer.
I attended Gibson Container Annual convention in 2007. The 1st performer was a young man named Kevin Curtis. Mr. Curtis performed a Salute to the Stars or "Tribute to the Stars" (one or the other) Mr. Brooks was hired as a "backup" performer to perform after Mr. Curtis' show. Mr. Brooks was rude and began talking to people in the crowd very loudly. He had some woman dressed very skimpy with him going in and out the front doors as Mr. Curtis was trying to perform his act. It was obvious Mr. Brooks was very intimidated by the younger performer. When Mr. Curtis finished performing his show, Brooks stopped him and questioned him about his costumes asking him where he got all of his gimmicks and props. Mr. Curtis was nice enough to tell him. I watched & bit my nails thinking "this old man will run out and get teddy bears at the same place Mr. Curtis gets his and before you know it..he'll be performing Mr. Curtis' act. Sure enough, just this week, I saw Bill Brooks "new" act at a local pub in Tupelo. He was pretty much performing the exact same act that he watched Kevin Curtis perform for Gibson Container. Shame on you Bill Brooks. It's one thing to impersonate a legend who has passed on to the other side but to steal show idea's and pretend YOU came up with it is another thing alltogether. Be more original & you will go further in your life and your career.
