Billy Cage is an American songwriter; singer, and guitarist from Phoenix, Arizona who makes both happy, powerful and beautiful acoustic rock music and performs a variety of rock n' roll and country rock tunes familiar with most audiences. As an artist, Billy Cage originals and Barefeet tunes consistently broke into the top 20 on several musical genre charts on (link hidden) from 2000 through 2002. The band Bare Feet broke up in 2003, but Billy Cage still remains active as a local solo artist and on the web. He is currently looking to team with another artist or new band. But most of all he wants to bring enjoyment to those who love classic and modern acoustic rock n' roll!

Billy Cage grew up in Southern California and was influenced by many of the bands from the 60's . . . Beach Boys, CCR, Hollies, Buffalo Springfield, Beatles, Rolling Stones and most British Invasion groups. He later moved to Colorado and felt the influence of country on rock n' roll and became a fan of the Eagles, Marshall Tucker and others. His vocal range is hard to match . . . from the Tokens "A Lion Sleeps tonight" to Styx "Come Sail Away" or The Vougues "Five O'Clock World" . . . you won't be disappointed.
After 35 years of playing and performing live at many venues, Billy's musical influences stem from R.E.M, Green Day, Three Doors Down, Social Distortion, Bowling for Soup and stretches back in time to many of the classic covers songs most of us remember . . . performed by such artists as listed previously, and include Jimmy Buffett, Zac Brown, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Jackson Brown, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Bruce Springsteen, Steve Miller. . . just to name a few . . .
Billy encourages audiences to sing along with him as he plays many of the wonderful classics most of us remember . . . Gloria (Van Morrison), Good Lovin' (Young Rascals), Sloopy (The Real McCoys) or songs many haven't heard on the radio for years like . . . Chevy Van (Tommy Johns), More Than I can Say (Leo Sayer), Wildfire (Michael Murphy), Guitar Man (Bread) . . . on and on the tunes keep coming, like a stroll down memory lane. Even Don McClean's American Pie . . . who reminds us that good ole' rock n' roll never dies . . . it lingers on with us throughout our entire lives.
Billy has over 250 popular cover songs sure to please most venues and can perform from 1 to 5 hours at a time.
Billy is available to play seven days a week Monday through Sunday, from 8:00 AM till well after the midnight hour . . .
