Black Cat Five is a veteran outfit with over 150 years of collective performing experience. Their setlist is comprised of a unique collection of songs, spanning blues, rock, R&B and their own compositions (the band boasts 4 songwriters and 5 singers). While the majority of their songlist are covers, this is NOT a band playing the same old tired standards. Instead you will hear quite a few deep cuts along with re-imagined songs from a number of genres. If you want some fresh sounds, coated with a blues/rock groove, Black Cat Five will be happy to deliver the goods.

Black Cat Five is a group combined of some of the finest players you will find anywhere in this country. I can't count high enough when I total all the years of blood, sweat and blues they have left on stages over the years multiply it by what you think and you'll be close. Old blues, new blues, classic rock painted blue, they bring it. They were our house band for the monthly blues jams for the Greater Allen County Blues Society as well as our annual Bluesfest and their ability to adjust and play on the fly isn't taught, it's in your soul. And Black Cat Five has it. If you get a chance book them. Thank me later. I'll leave the tip jar by the door...

Black Cat Five is a veteran outfit with over 150 years of collective performing experience. Originally formed in 2011 as SpitSnake Johnson & the Rattlers, they morphed into Black Cat Five in 2023. Their setlist is comprised of a unique collection of songs, spanning blues, rock, R&B and their own compositions (the band boasts 4 songwriters and 5 singers). Setup Requirements
Five piece band where all five members sing. Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Drums. Lead vocalist also plays harmonica. We can provide out own PA for small venues, but would require someone to provide a PA for larger spaces.
