Canons don’t sink ships, pirates with canons sink ships! Hire Blackbeard for your next event, because if there’s one thing you can trust, it’s a pirate with a beard.
Gold, Guns & Glory... what more could you ask for? A sword fight? Flourishy swordplay is bad for morale, keep it simple, swordsman.

Will travel as far as the Sea will take me (over 3000 miles if your budget provides)
I carved me name in infamy after just two years on the rocky sea. I took up looting after work as a privateer in the Queen Anne’s War ((phone number hidden)3) concluded with the war’s end. As a privateer I had the blessings of the English government to steal from the Spanish fleet and share the spoils. I used me uncommon skill when I turned to the pirate’s life with the crew of Capt. Benjamin Hornigold in 1716.
I had long since forget my meager upbringings as a young Edward Teach, but as Blackbeard I earned a reputation for ferocity and skill in battle. Many vessels surrendered at first sight! Tales of me bravado ashore spread quickly — I held me rum like no other man, and was never known to slip 4 sheets to the wind. I practiced early psychological warfare, going into battle with canon fuses in me hair, (I actually just treasured the smell of cotton, gunpowder, and lacquer.) all-the-while wearing an expression of pure evil, I sometimes felt that I be the brother of the devil himself.
Hornigold and I sighted the French-flagged slave ship La Concorde in the West Indies late in 1717, and I took command. I outfitted her with 40 cannons, and for months took prizes and terrorized merchant’s and governments of the Caribbean and eastern U.S.
My most bodacious attack (some say) be the blockade of Charleston Harbor in May 1718, with four vessels and a crew of 300-400 seamen. I seized and plundered eight or nine vessels, and took valuables from hostages. I demanded and got a chest of medicines, and headed for North Carolina (oh, how I miss thee). In June 1718 me ship, Queen Anne’s Revenge, ran aground within the belly of Beaufort Inlet.
Mementos of me piratical career can be found (no need for yer map) @ “Blackbeard’s Queen Anne’s Revenge 1718″ exhibit at the N.C. Maritime Museum on North Carolina’s Crystal Coast.
