BlackSmith is a spoken word trio from Southern Louisiana. The group met on the campus of UL-Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana in October of 2015. Since becoming BlackSmith, the group has been featured on many stages throughout Louisiana including the Universities, Festivals, and Political Campaign Trails. BlackSmith also provides writing workshops, performance workshops, and social commentary. BlackSmith is currently working on it's first Spoken Word album and is continuing to make it's imprint on the world through it's featured show, AMBIENCE, which is a celebration of the arts through community, expression, and entrepreneurship.
