For women looking to commemorate their pregnancies with henna, be assured that a special prenatal-safe henna paste is used; we can speak with you about the use of henna prenatally and answer any questions that you may have.

Blooming Lotus Henna uses only 100% natural hand-mixed henna paste containing organic essential oils, sugar, and fruit juice. We DO NOT provide "Black Henna" as it is an extremely toxic substance that can lead to blistering, scarring, and horrific allergic reactions.

Each henna design is applied freehand to clean skin (special care is taken to avoid broken or otherwise injured/afflicted skin) and is then sealed to the surface with an organic Lemon-Sugar solution or Latex-Free Cloth Medical Tape to ensure a lasting application and stain. Aftercare Instructions are provided alongside the henna to ensure that you have the best chance of getting the most out of your sitting.

Ana Warren, Mehndi Artist, is the Owner and Operator of Blooming Lotus Henna. All Henna Body Art is applied freehand; the henna paste is mixed by hand in small batches to ensure superior quality, using locally sourced organic essential oils and the finest Body Art Quality Henna powder available. No "Black Henna" is used!

In addition to Private Appointments/Parties, Blooming Lotus Henna is present annually on the local Festival/Fair circuit and has provided services for corporate openings and events, as well as large student body events at local collages and high schools. A 10x10 event outdoor tent setup is available for large corporate events, festivals, and weddings.

Blooming Lotus Henna has attended national henna retreats and workshops, and has studied under some of the nations leading henna artists. Ana's aesthetic holds a bold, flowing quality; heavily influenced by Indo-Arabic, Sudanese, and UAE motifs. The knowledge Ana gained during her Midwifery Apprenticeship has allowed her to specifically tailor henna paste and application techniques safe for pregnancy; special research has been done into the possible contraindications of the application of henna and the use of essential oils prenatally.
