Alasea and her crew were awesome. They were very responsive and accommodating during the booking process. They went above and beyond our expectations to make sure the mermaid tank was here in time for our event, which we were very grateful for. The mermaids certainly impressed all of our guests at the event- a truly unique spectacle!

We hired Blue Mermaid Designs for our 4th Annual Pirate Fest and Mermaid Splash. We had 3 mermaids and 1 merman. They were fantastic! Great with the children and easy-going and fun! Their costumes are realistic and their personalities steal the show. I would highly suggest them for any event and would most definitely hire them in the future.
From our initial communication through her graceful exit from the pool, Alasea was a delight. This mermaid's exquisite appearance and winning smile created magical moments for our 900 guests, ages 5 to 85.
Our Parade of Mermaids is an event that raises money for local folks suffering from breast cancer. The appearance of the Blue Mermaids was a significant booster in the success of our event. People loved to pose with the mermaids for photos, and donated money for the privilege
Mermaid Allora visited the Ormond Beach Riverfest and Seafood Festival and was a HUGE HIT! She was wonderful with the kids and great to work with. Alasea, although unable to attend our event, was professional and handled the details of the entertainment with ease. I can't wait to have them back for another event!!
I attended an event at a country club in Naples and Alasea the Blue Mermaid was swimming in their pool. What a beautiful performance, and how realistic looking. She will have you believing that mermaids are real. I am an event planner and will book her every chance I get because she is amazing. If you want to dazzle your guests you need a mermaid!
Saw Alasea during the Pirate festival on Ft Myers Beach. She was at the Yucatan Beach Stand. I have a great picture with her and my wife and daughter. She was very nice and accommodating to everyone that wanted a picture or ask questions. Also was very sweet to every little child that wanted to touch or get a hug. Very realistic looking as well, you would truly believe her to be a REAL Mermaid.
I hired Alasea the Blue Mermaid for a children's event at our club. The kids and parents were thrilled. I had to expand the event to include over 120 children. Unfortunately, I didn't book her early enough for this past summer and the kids were very disappointed. I will be hiring her for an event during the summer of 2013!

It depends on the event! We provide a unique attraction for guests. People are excited to meet a real live mermaid! We can swim in your pool, but if there's no water around, we can sit and mingle with you and your guests. A mermaid can be a unique ornament or can talk to and take pictures with your guests.
For kids events: We can do anything from a simple meet and greet to a swim with a mermaid pool party. We can do a structured kids program, or let them take the lead! We can give them a piece of our mermaid treasure for a wonderful keepsake.
For adult events: We provide a unique attraction for guests. People are excited to meet a real live mermaid! A mermaid can be a unique ornament or can talk to and take pictures with your guests. Put us in some water and watch us swim. We have been a unique ornament for swimming pools at large parties (live décor), and a unique photo opportunity for guest to get their photo with a mermaid. We can mingle with your guests, work as promotional models, give party favors to guests, or hand out promotional materials.
In general, just having a mermaid is a huge draw for businesses and events, because people love meeting and getting a photo with a real mermaid! Just let us know what you would like us to do and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Our mermaids stay in character during the performance time, they will always play the part of a real mermaid! The mermaid will arrive approximately 20-30 minutes before her scheduled performance. She will need a private area to change to get into costume. She will bring an assistant who will assist her in getting to the performance area, watch her for safety, care for her things, and communicate with the client. And the end of the scheduled time, the assistant will take her back to the changing area, and they will attempt to slip out un-noticed, so as not to ruin the illusion.
