About
The music of the Blue Sage Band revolves around the repertoire of folk singer Mike Iverson. One of the best known clawhammer banjoists, Mike also plays bluegrass banjo with the band.
On upright bass fiddle, we have Shauna Iverson. It’s Shauna's driving bass lines that provide the power behind the Blue Sage sound. Rocking out on stage, audiences find Shauna as much fun to watch as to listen to!
Heather Blaisdell brings the rich heritage of Celtic and American fiddle traditions to the band. Heather’s unique improvisations add an indispensable texture to the Blue Sage sound.
Shaundra Cragun is an exceptional singer, songwriter and guitarist. We are proud to showcase many of her original songs in every Blue Sage performance.
Award winning multi-instrumentalist Hudson Bosworth is no stranger to the bluegrass world. We feel fortunate to have him in the band on mandolin and guitar.
