The Jake and Elwood Blues Revue

The Jake and Elwood Blues Revue is the only Blues Brothers act in the country sanctioned by the Belushi estate and Dan Aykroyd. These amazing impersonators have been performing for more than 10 years across the globe for over 1000 corporate functions. Based in Orlando, Florida, this incredible duo is a mainstay at Universal Studios and House of Blues. Add a high-energy dance band, and you have one of the most powerful corporate acts in the country.

There are many show options ranging from a duo performing live to track, all the way up to a complete package including a 9-piece band with full horn section. This interactive show boasts up to 60 minutes of non-stop energy complete with all of the familiar songs from the hit movie "The Blues Brothers" and "Saturday Night Live". A great way to kick off any meeting, bring the house down after an awards ceremony, or save as the featured act for your corporate function.

The Band Show

The lights go out and as the curtains open revealing the “Blues Brothers Band", wearing prison shirts, getting everyone in the "blues mood" as they play "Green Onions". At the end of the song, the Blues Brothers familiar intro music begins. As "Can't Turn You Loose" plays, Jake and Elwood are introduced. With briefcase in hand, Elwood takes center stage, while Jake unlocks the handcuffs and launches into his trademark cartwheel, kick-starting this Broadway style production.

Over the next 60 minutes, your audience will be dancing in the aisles as Jake and Elwood sing their greatest hits, including "Soul Man", "Everybody Needs Somebody", "Gimme Some Lovin'," "Rawhide," and many more. The Blues Brothers bring the house down with "Sweet Home Chicago" as they lead your CEO or special guest to the stage to join Jake and Elwood as an "Honorary Blues Brother." Your pre-selected victim will be presented with sunglasses and instructed to dance with Elwood to the delight of the screaming fans. By the end of the song, Elwood will be in the audience forming a human "Blues Train" that will have everyone on their feet.

Blues Brothers singing live to track

20 Minute show featuring all of the hits from the movie and “Saturday Night Live” including “Soul Man”, “Gimme Some Lovin”, “Sweet Home Chicago” and much more. One lucky victim will be brought to the stage and crowned as an “Honorary Blues Brother”. This high-energy show features lots of audience participation, and is a great opener for breakout sessions, awards ceremonies, and after dinner entertainment for gala parties.

Blues Brothers with Nuns and “Cab”
Blues Brothers with Aretha or Cab Calloway

This incredible combination is a sure hit and is a good option if the 20-minute show isn’t quite enough. Aretha hits the stage and belts out her greatest hits including “Think”, “R-E-S-P-E-C-T”, “Chain of Fools”, and “Natural Woman”. She then announces the two hoodlums from Chicago, the “Blues Brothers”! The “Cab” version features the grand opening number “Minnie the Moocher”, followed by other great hits including “Land of a 1000 Dances”, “Mustang Sally”, and more. Jake and Elwood will then come barging in from the back of the house, make their way to the stage and launch into their performance. This high-powered act is topped off with a finale performance as “Aretha” or “Cab” joins the Boys in an incredible finale performance.

Recommendations:

• "Blues Brothers Band" can start the evening as a jazz trio for dinner music, then expand into a high-energy 8-Piece dance band.

• If the Blues Brothers are appearing after an awards ceremony, it is recommended that bar service stations are located inside the ballroom.

• The best way to present the show is to hype it! Display pictures or posters of the Blues Brothers, or have Jake and Elwood pass out sunglasses.

• You may also book the actual "Bluesmobile" and have Jake and Elwood speed into your venue, hop out of the car and run to the stage. A great enhancement for outdoor events.
