Blues Brothers Tribute Act The Soul Men

May 9, 2015- Amvets Post #26 - Mansfield, Ohio -Rock and Roll fundraiser for The Resurrecting Lives Foundation, a non-profit for Veterans with Brain Injuries.

What energy, joy, and enthusiasm the Blues Brothers Tribute Act for the Soul Men brought to the festival! They not only displayed enormous talent and professionalism, but also patriotism as they performed for our Heroes and their families. So many souls were lightened by their entertainment, while never losing the fact that we were there to support those who had served our nation. Several of our young heroes from Iraq and Afghanistan attended and were introduced to Jake and Elwood for the first time. Yet, it didn't matter if you knew the Soul Brothers or not at the beginning of the set, for you sure knew them afterwards.
We, at Resurrecting Lives Foundation, salute the Soul Men for their talents and efforts to honor those who served us. Like Jake and Elwood reminded us during their performance, "We are on a mission.... from God."
Many thanks for an evening of entertainment and a cause that we will not forget.

From sound check to end of show, the performers were very respectful and attentive to the needs of the show. Their performance was action packed, fun and interactive with the crowd. It was a real pleasure and honor to work with these professionals!

The Soul Men are fantastic! They played for our cocktail party that we had in conjunction with a trade show, and our customers LOVED them. We had several requests for them to come back next time. Communication was excellent, they really know how to work a crowd, and they went above and beyond to work with our limited, small company budget. Special thanks to Dan's wife, Cyndi, who is also their manager-- I just told her what I had in mind and how much money I had to work with, and she made all the arrangements versus me trying to piece everything together. Really made life easy. I can't wait to hire them again. As for the performance-- you will be amazed! These guys are extremely talented. They have all the "Jake and Elwood" moves-- in fact, I forgot they weren't the actual Blues Brothers! Thanks to them, our event was a huge success!

Awesome Tribute Band. We hired them for a high school graduation party and the kids loved them, got up on stage and sang with them, and were dancing. Of course the adults loved them too. They really made the party so much more fun. My son's party was voted Best Graduation Party for the Class of 2011

The soul men were fantastic. Their energy and enthusiasm was contagious. They got the guests on their feet and got them to participate even though many of them did not think they wanted to. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a high energy fun fun fun party.

I hired the Soul Men for my husband's 40th birthday party in Grafton, WV. They did a FANTASTIC job. Everyone at the party commented about how great they did and how much fun they had! The guys did a great job of getting a "stuffy" crowd clapping, dancing, and singing. It was a blast!

We hired The Soul Men to authentically re-create The Blues Brothers phenomenon with our band at a city concert. We have actually hired them many times. They are a hoot! They are the life of the party. The guys are equally good on stage as well as schmoozing and engaging the guests off stage. These guys are great!

I met them first as they were a featured act on my stage for a huge car cruise special event in Ocean City, MD. The crowds loved their performance which was impressive. This led me to recommend them for a corporate event in Altoona, PA, and then recently in Independence,OH,I sahred stage with them again, and as before, they were crowd favorites!
