Bob is a Fingerstyle instrumental guitarist and singer/songwriter and acoustic singing cover musician. His enthralling finger-style instrumental guitar music is a delicious mix of folk and classical with a touch of jazz. Evoking the likes of Leo Kottke, Andre Segovia, Jim Hall and Paul Simon, his music is a mix of sophistication and whimsy. As a cover artist, he performs music of the Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, James Taylor, Sarah Harmer, Elliot Smith, Iron & Wine, The Weepies, Jim Croce, Neil Young, etc.. His energy, charming stage presence and appealing voice always entertain.
i haven't even bought you for an event but ive been trying to learn prelude by ear forever and i cant, can you make tabs for it sometime or the chord list
Response from Bob Gerics:
Hi Tonytone,
Thanks for your message. It was very nice.
I do not work with Tabs, just sheet music. I have never notated Prelude, but I may. For now, I can tell you, in case you haven't realized it, it is written/played in open D tuning. From low to high: d a d f# a d.
The first four notes of the song are open strings 6th 4th 3rd 2nd. That should get you started.
Good luck,
Bob

Bob sang and played at our September brunch wedding. He was wonderful throughout the entire process. He responded in a timely manner, answered all of my questions and was so easy to work with. Everyone loved him and kept asking where we found him. He played a wide variety of songs that everyone knew and loved and provided the perfect vibe for a brunch wedding. I recommend Bob for any of your event needs, he is absolutely the BEST! Seriously, hire Bob, you will not be disappointed!
