I'm a motivational speaker for at-risk youth for middle school and high school students. I believe in a world where students are able to wake up thrilled to be given an opportunity to grow. I believe that every student has the potential to change the world on a global scale. I facilitate this growth by showing them how to believe in themselves, their teachers, and their community. School systems that I work with learn student leadership skills, how to find their motivation on a deep level, and fall in love with learning again. I offer live keynotes, break out sessions, and one on one coaching with teachers and students.

For over 15 years, Bobby has been developing the leadership skills of our youth. Initially an at-risk student himself, he struggled through school. He worked diligently with teachers, counselors, and psychologists to discover that the root of his struggles in school wasn’t due to his intelligence, but due to his negative behaviors that had gone unchecked. After working through his childhood traumas, he discovered that there’s no such thing as a bad student, but a lack of communication with that student.
Upon graduating from North Royalton High School, Bobby attended The College of Wooster in Wooster Ohio to earn his (link hidden)s.Ed in Music Education K-12. During his time at Wooster, he fell in love not only with teaching but in helping the “problem students” in his classrooms.
“I would always ask my mentor teachers what it was that made these specific students the ‘problem’ ones. And without fail, I’d always get the same response in that their behavior was unacceptable. After noticing this pattern, I wanted to see if I could fix it.”
Bobby has worked with students of all ages and found that these “problem” students didn’t need more punishments to change their behavior. What they needed was someone to help them work through what made them feel that negative feeling, and how to work through that. After graduating from The College of Wooster, Bobby enlisted in the United States Army as an Army Musician. In addition to his work for the United States Army, he coaches at-risk students in group and one-on-one coaching sessions. Bobby wants students to understand themselves. He wants students to not only understand their weaknesses but how to overcome them. He utilizes various tools in his coaching programs with students such as Live keynotes speeches, breakout coaching sessions, and a 22-page personalized assessment of strengths and weaknesses through the DISC assessment.
Bobby has been studying, listening, and improving his speaking skills with the help of the Game Changer’s program with Eric Thomas and Associates. Through the help of CJ Quinney, Kendall Ficklin, Kantis Simmons, VaLarie Humphrey, Aisha Thomas, Nicky Saunders, and the #1 Motivational Speaker in the world, Dr. Eric Thomas, Bobby was pushed mentally, spiritually, and emotionally to craft his signature message. Their constant guidance helped Bobby discover his strength in working with students.
“It was some of the most intense training I’ve ever experienced. But with that, I realized that if I’m going to ask my students to push themselves this hard, I need to understand what it feels like. I need to feel what it’s like to really demand the best out of yourself, too.”
On October 5th, 2020, Bobby earned his certification as an ETA Certified Speaker.
Bobby is the host of the StudentFyre Podcast which can be found on Apple Podcasts, iHeart Radio, Google Podcasts, Spreaker, and all major podcast platforms. His podcast presents quick, 5-20 minute episodes for students to receive professional development without taking away massive amounts of time from their already packed schedules. Bobby wants to make this world a better place for everyone that inhabits it.
“If I can help just one student feel that they truly matter, maybe they can take those skills they’ve learned and help someone else. And they’ll help another student. And the cycle never ends. That’s my dream for this world.”
