Alquin's performance was the highlight of our graduation luau! He is really talented, fun, and was engaging with our high school students! He made our Graduation Night a memorable occasion!

He did do a good job with his performance. He was very accommodating with the time of the event. I just wished he dressed for the event in a Hawaiian costume or similar and used Hawaiian-type music. Maybe yelled out a few Hawaiian Chants before the fire show. I think incorporating those things would make for better performance. He also left a towel filled with gasoline next to the exit.

We recently hired Boracay Premier FireDancer for a Polynesian themed adult birthday party in our backyard. We had about 50 guests. We timed his surprise performance to start when it was dark after drinks & appetizers but before dinner and it was great since all of our guests were still there. Alquin was very intriguing to watch and gave a fun element of entertainment to our party. His performance (which included a few interactions with party guests) was about 15 minutes in duration and it was plenty. He was on time, very polite and professional. I would definitely recommend him.

He was an absolute hit at my party on the beach in Coronado. He was able to adapt his routine to the beach and performed with the sun setting in the background. The entire beach came over to watch him perform. He was very professional and easy to work with, which was a huge plus. I would definitely recommend hiring him as entertainment.

This is the first time I'd utilized GigSalad to hire a fire dancer...and I'm so glad I did! The special occasion was my husband's surprise 40th birthday/10th wedding anniversary luau. -There were other entertainers I'd took into consideration, of which I was originally thinking of hiring a traditional fire dancer (in addition to the Hula dancers I'd hired elsewhere), but changed my mind due in part to Alquin's great reviews, easy-going/prompt/courteous communication, and very reasonable price for a longer performance time than all others I'd considered. Although I hadn't previously hired a fire performer before, I've had the pleasure of watching others (traditional islander/nontraditional fire acts) in the past, and am very thankful to have travelled to Hawaii and the South Pacific, viewing some wonderfully captivating fire shows. With that in mind, I highly anticipated Alquin's performance, and am so pleased to say that he definitely EXCEEDED my expectations! He wasn't dressed in islander attire to match the luau party theme, nor did he dance to tropical music, but I was previously informed of that and didn't mind. Alquin came early with a cheerful smile and demeanor and was quick to setup. He truly got the crowd of various ages pumped up as he mesmerized them with his unique, vivacious, eye-opening, jaw-dropping skills, while incorporating a nice balance of audience participation. His fire act went fabulously, and he performed with much heartfelt passion, to the point where everyone felt entertained, excited, and satisfied during (and even after) the performance. Guests received his business card and would like to hire him. -Heck, I would hire him again haha! This was definitely the case of...you get what you paid for -AND MUCH MORE!!! His mastery of fire is amazing. His performance is mesmerizing and all the guests loved his dance.

We reserved Al for my son's 10th birthday and his performance was the highlight of the evening. The kids were just simply amazed and my son was thrilled beyond belief....just an absolutely fantastic performance. Al was great with the kids, allowing a few to come up while he spun his flames around their heads for some extra excitement.

Arrived on time and ready to perform. Very entertaining for all the kids as well as adults. More modern type of fire dance rather than traditional Polynesian style.

I hired Boracay for my daughter's after wedding luau. He was professional and constantly kept in touch before the event.

When he and his assistant arrived, they had us prep his music, which was upbeat. It was not Hawaiian but we loved it, as it was just right for the performance he gave. (If you're looking for something more Polynesian, my suggestion is to give this a chance.)

His performance was highly energetic and extremely entertaining. We had about 100 people and they were all enthralled. He danced to the music and incorporated the fire very well. Our guests were into it, cheering and clapping. He requested the bridal couple to come to the "stage" and he performed over them. He then went into the audience (myself included) and did the same. He did other audience participation, but I won't spoil it for you. You'll have to hire him to see his show. It was exciting and thrilling. The fire added the element of danger that we all wanted yet feared.

The performance was too short because we wanted more. Overall, great performance and highly recommend him.

Borcay showed up early to set up. His show was exciting, percussion and just down right the talk of the party. I would use him agian with no hesitation. Very professional.

My daughter turned 9 this year and she always wanted a Hawaii theme party with fire dancers. We found Boracay on line through gig salad. When I watched your video, I was a bit unsure as to whether or not you would be the right fit for our conservative, older Presbyterian crowd. You communicated well, found the right drumbeat, and tailored your show perfectly for us - even pulled one of the child volunteers from the crowd which made his night! People are still talking about your fantastic show and you helped infuse the night with energy and excitement! My guest and I were so amazed with Alquin's performance! He arrived and told the DJ to play any type of dance or house music. He was ready to go and confident. He got the guest involved and "fired" up the crowd. People were talking about it for days after. The quality of his dancing and performance will forever be a memory I won't forget!
