What to Expect
I'm punctual, organized, and reliable. You will hear from me multiple times before your gig. That way, I can better understand your needs, schedule, and any special requests you have for me.
I use professional equipment from my PA system to my mixer and my guitars. Everything is well looked after and clean. And, so is my stage area. I like a clean stage with cables neatly organized. And, I dress appropriately. I do this so that any pictures including me won't ruin the event photos.
I'm courteous and respectful. I'm also very easy to work with. But, I will communicate and help guide you if I feel there's something missing in your requests. Some events may require something special. If that's the case, I'll recommend it.
Each gig usually consists of 2-3 sets of music. I will take a short break between each and play some background music during those breaks.
I provide each customer with a detailed list of what is being presented.
About
I picked up a guitar at 10. But, I've been playing music since I was 5. Music is my passion. I've played in almost every kind of band you can imagine from large church bands to corporate country bands and local rock bands as well. I continue to play in bands. But, as a solo artist, I love to cover songs on acoustic guitar in a way that makes audiences sing along.
My focus is to create an atmosphere that is appropriate for each event. Some events require more upbeat and energetic music while others are more relaxed. My setlist is catered to allow for these different scenarios. I'm also able to turn a song into something more "chill" even though it's usually upbeat. Audiences love hearing their favorite songs broken down like that.
I'm constantly learning more material to prepare for requests that come along. I work hard to memorize songs so I'm not staring at an iPad while playing. I want to engage with the audience (if that's needed). But, I can also just sit back and be background music.
When I play a gig, I'm always dressed appropriately. I'm very organized, on time, and reliable. I've run many businesses in my life. Now, I'm living my dream.
