Brian T. Lally is a multi-faceted artist whose creative energies are diversely expressed as a singer, guitarist, improviser, songwriter and composer. Expressive, inspirational, stimulating and introspective, Brian transports the listener to another place. He must be heard live to be truly appreciated.
Brian displayed musical talent at a young age improvising and composing music on his grandmother's organ despite a lack of formal musical training. As a teenager he began studying the electric guitar and gave his first public performance just nine months later. His interest in classical music led him to begin classical guitar studies, and during his second year at Western Washington University he entered the music program at the recommendation of the classical guitar professor. He completed a B.A. in Music.
He studied voice with internationally recognized singers Pamela Casella and Craig Nim.
Brian's past engagements have included a live on-air performance on the Bob Rivers Morning Show on (link hidden) KZOK FM, in-concert performances at the Seattle Arts in Nature Festival, the Northwest Faerie Festival, and the Seattle Museum of the Mysteries; and weekly performances at the 4th & Madison Building in downtown Seattle for four-and-a-half years.
His performances include original compositions and improvisations as well as music from a variety of different styles including classical, jazz, and pop.
When amplification is required, Brian needs to be seated within fifty feet (the length of his extension cord) of a three-pronged, grounded outlet to plug in his amplifier.
