We had a great day and fab evening – all the music was brilliant and I was surprised you got them on the dance floor for the evening, which is what we were looking for. Lots of our residents commented on how great the playlist was as well!

Short notice request. Brian Showed up early and prepared and put on a great party. He handled customer request and was able to fill the dance floor throughout the event.

Brian was absolutely fantastic at our holiday work party! We hired him to DJ the party and not only did he play holiday music but he played a wide variety of music to mix things up! Would highly recommend him for your next event. We definitely plan to book him again! Thank you!

I felt the only problem was music volume but definitely not Brians fault ...very open high ceiling plus every time
I asked him to raise the volume the people closest to the speakers asked him to turn volume down. I should have recommended that those people move towards the back where volume was lower but all in all much fun had by all!!!!!!

I was a little hesitant to book a comedian for our retirement community, because it could be great or really bad! I’m so glad I booked Brian! He was funny, professional and our residents really were able to relate and understand the comedy act! They are still talking about it! Not only will we book him again, we have shared his contact info with our sister communities!!

Brian was contacted with less than 24hrs notice to perform. He was prompt in his responses and delivered on what he promised. You can tell that he knows how to "feel" a crowd, deliver the punch line and wrap up on time!

He was funny , but never connected with audience

Brian did a great job and was very attentive to the 'birthday girl". We enjoyed all of his jokes and the subjects he talked about, with the exception of his heart attack. Some of that was a little over the top. Perhaps something not quite so personal and a broader subject would have been more enjoyable. Otherwise, we enjoyed everything else Mr. Shirley had to offer. Would definitely hire him again!

Our students and teachers really enjoyed Brian!

Brian spoke to a small group of about 50 people before a fundraising auction. He kept the group entertained and laughing. The group varies with many different kinds of beliefs/values/political views and he was able to hit topics that everyone enjoyed hearing about.

We had a great time with Brian. He was punctual, set up his audio and went to work for our managers meeting and social. He was great!

Brian was great but I didn't have a good sound system so a lot of people didn't hear him and couldn't react to his jokes. Next time I'll just make sure I have a better sound system. He was prompt and professional at all time. He is a comedian that work the audience into his show . I'm just so sorry that the mic wasn't working right.

he helped us raise money for our charity

We hired Brian to the the entertainment at our recent reunion banquet. 137 former sailors and their ladies of the USS Wainwright Veterans Association enjoyed his jokes, stories and the way he engaged the crowd. Brian arrived at the beginning of the evening and joined us for dinner before his time on stage. He listened to all that was going on and was able to tailor his act to fit our particular group, with some good-natured ribbing of the more prominent members of the association. What he and Gigsalad charged was more than reasonable. If your group is looking for something other than the same old, same old, check him out. There are plenty of videos of his act on line as well as his own "BTS on the Road" productions.
